Arty Girlz Challenge #70 - ATC

I am a little bit peeved today as justice is never served to decent and honest people. It seems to benefit from our system you have to be corrupt and created your hole! We need some legal advice but because it is not around eviction or for a court case we are deemed non urgent. And my photography is all naff.

I used my favourite colours black and purple for this challenge. I received some more sugar nellie stamps today and some H2O's so I thought I would use the theme at Arty Girlz of an ATC the to have a play.
I cut out elements of the stamp and coloured in using a mixture of sakura pens and H20's I then put them on foam pads and added them to the background black card with various H2o's on. I used wire and beads to make the branch and I used the same ones for the centre of the flower. I think I will save it for a card topper or I may frame it, as I am really loving it!

Double bubble - Papertake weekly and A spoonful of sugar

That's the old man's card sorted for Valentines Day! Oh and two challenges in one. The two challenges being spoonfull of sugar and Papertake weekly I have made this cheeky card for my lovely partner in crime, Jimmy! He likes a laugh so I hope he likes it. I used an imaginsence image. They are such a bargin at only 99p. I used my nesties to make a frame and I cuttlebugged it to give a bit of definition. I used papermania oriental spice papers perfect as they include lily pads. I made the sentiment on word and added the same background as the image. Added some embellishments and used foam pads to again add some interest.

I have also used some gold card to layer with. I made my one embellishment out of 3 embellishments, wire, ribbon and gems. I loved this challenge. I haven't forgotten but I have a couple of awards to post. If the children behave I may get to do this later, if not I will by the end of the week.

Magnolia v Stampavie - Double Trouble

I have made this card for the Magnolia vs Stampavie challenge. I have not used these Sarah Kay stamps for a while. I decided to use one as the main image and one as a shrink plastic charm. I love black and apparently blue is this seasons colour so I used a lot of blue. I cuttlebugged the black coredinations card with some border embossing folders and then I sanded it. I used papermania papers. I really loved making this card. I am starting to improve on my colouring so I feel more inspired in creating images that I am proud of. I coloured the shrink plastic with coloured pencils and promarkers.

Penny Black Challenge - Frames

Hi the challenge over at Penny Black challenge is to use frames. You must use a Penny Black product. I brought some stickers recently in one of the sales that are on. So I used this lovely sentiment to frame. The cardstock is from a papermania kit. It is prembossed. I made a frame using my nesties. I cuttlebugged one of the smaller nesties and layered the sticker onto some contrasting card. I then arranged my flowers and added some beads for there centres. I love using sentiments as they can say so much!

2 -4-1 - Basic Grey challenge and Sketch Saturday

2 Patterned papers - I used EVA
1 Button - from the stash

Friday Sketchers

Pop over to Friday sketchers and check out the amazing sketch by Beatrix it is so wonderful and versatile. I used this image by Elizabeth Bell. I used paperpiecing on the hat, top and one of the knee patches. I used brush pens and promarkers to colour the rest of the image. The ribbon is from my stash. The flowers are prima flowers. I put seed beads in the middle. I used some beads and wirework and the papers are Basic Grey "stella ruby" I loved doing this it was a pure joy.

Whiff of Joy - Katherina Sketch #15

A lovely sketch at this week. I made this monochrome card for the whiff of joy challenge. I used paperpiecing and kept colour to a minimum. I have had the most delightful day. It is my birthday this week and mum's next week so we went to Covent Garden which is bus ride away from my home. We shopped till we dropped and we had lunch in a posh brasserie! My baby got a little fractious as they do when you are trying to enjoy your day. But it was still a fabby day!

This is a baby card for the A spoonful of sugar challenge. I used a free paper from a CD rom I got with papercraft essentials. Great print quality. I used normal Tesco value photo copy paper. I used a stamp that came with a copy of craft stamper for both the main image and the shrunken image. I then co-ordinated with coredination card. Click on the image to ee in more detail.

Forever Friends and Stash and Sketch

The forever friends challenge this week is to use ribbons creatively. Easy one for me as I love to use a ribbon or two when crafting. I used some satin ribbon on this boy baby card. I tied it around the blanket to make it look as if it is keeping the blanket together and also as a tag embellishment at the side I am really upset Woolworths is bust as I got this ribbon from there and a few other bits and bobs. I also used this card for the sketch and stash challenge. A yummy sketch very simple to use but stylish. There is a chance to be a Guest Designer too. I used mostly new stash including my scalloped nesties, papermania paper, coredination card and my forever friends stamp.

It's my Birthday!!!!

Thank you to kind and talented Joey who sent me a beautiful card!!! I will treasure it. It is made using black and a bold orange just my cuppa tea! It also has an adorable Tilda on it!!! I adore it and it made my day!

This is my birthday present from my babies and hubby! I only have a corner for crafting so this is perfect! My beautiful daughter also made me a covered washing up box and filled it with Roses. I am so lucky. I went for a meal last night at my fav restaurant with lots of friends so I have been so spoilt. I got money from my aunt and Dad and Mum is coming with some goodies in the next few days. I am also getting a sideboard but that is not until the store get a delivery. I got my bonus from work today and it was a lush box of body shop goodies!

Hi this week over at the Penny Black challenge over at is to get dotty. I have used some stickeroos as I only have one set of Penny Black stamps and thought it may be fun to try these. Not sure how well it has worked.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch #34

Friday sketchers - Murmurs sketch

A stunning sketch at Friday sketchers. I have just had the most wonderful arty evening creating this one! It is the first night I have not had to lie with the baby most of the evening, in about two weeks! I loved making the beaded embellishments. Not played much with beads in months. Mental note to do more often. I had a rubbish day as the place was way too tiny. I have a horrible blocked head and so this made up for all that.
