3 challenges in one card!!!

I made this card for three challenges. High hopes challenge was to use mainly pink and brown on your card. Basic Grey's challenge was to use doodling and I used the sketch from Friday sketchers .
I used the main image stamp from high hopes stamps. I used H20's to colour the image. I then used a basic grey stamp to make the flowers and doodled the stems and the leaves. The paper is also from basic grey.
The weather has been gorgeous but I have chosen to stay in and craft as I am shattered after all the shenanigans this week. We went to Godstone Farm yesterday which was a really lovely day out may post some pics up tomorrow. Hope you are all enjoying the bank Holiday!!!

Basic Grey challenge - Ice cream

OOH I love ice cream so how could I resist the basic grey challenge this week!!!! I have two favourite flavours Rum and Raisin and Mint choc chip. I also love Mint feasts and cornetto's so I chose Mint choc chip as my inspiration. I used Stella Ruby papers. I coloured in Ian ( rock the farm set) from the greeting farm, using copics and promarkers. I used sakura stardust pen for the fish. I added some pebbles and ribbon. I paper pierced the scalloped edge card as I do not have any fancy border punches yet.

Basic Grey challenge - Christines sketch

Hello ladies and gents. I have had a busy day we went up to watch the marathon. It is a 10 minute walk away. They are so brave and fabulous to take part in this gruelling race. All the money that is raised for charity is amazing. We saw Katie Price and Peter Andre, she looked very tired and we are at the 12 mile point. We then went to a friends for lunch it was delicious and the kids had fun which is lovely.
I made this card yesterday for the Basic Grey challenge a sketch by Christine. Another gorjuss girl set 2. I love her! I found the quote on the net. I used copics and H20's again. I used the beautiful Marakkesh range. It is a bit squiffy so I added some stitching. I painted the flowers with H20's

How do you eat yours - Basic Grey challenge

Okay this week at Basic grey challenge blog the theme is chocolate soft centres. So for example you have to use brown and green if you like mint chocolates. Well I love lots of chocolates but my favourites at this time of year is Cadbury's cream eggs. I have used the colours from the foil wrapper which are red, blue and yellow and the colours of choclate and white and yellow for the egg. I received this sugar nellie shopaholic stamp today and the Marakesh papers from Basic grey and I also received the Mulberry paper flowers from Wild Orchid crafts. Poor postman must of been cursing me. I paperpieced her top.

Basic Grey challenge - spring/Easter

I made this for the basic grey challenge , inspired by the brown and greens that are emerging from the trees in spring. I used my Miss Anya stamps by the greeting farm a current fave of mine. I added some stella ruby papers and some embellishments. I am quite loving this card!

We attempted the shopping trip again today and guess what happened as we pulled into the car park the car overheated and we had to get the RAC to come to the rescue. They did a temporary fix which got us home! Inbetween I spent huge amounts of money in the shops! All wedding outfits completed and my baby boy has his first pair of shoes!!!!

Penny Black spring meets Basic Grey sketch!

Morning all I have had a great morning watched the Grand Prix ( Go Team Brawn!!!) in bed, whilst Jimmy ( he hates motor racing I have been brought up on it, my dad met Graham Hill years ago.) got the kids sorted. Just had a coffee and breakfast and made a card! What more could a knackered mum of four want..... Well a huge house in the country, lots of dosh, babysitters, diamonds the list is endless ( no I am happy with my lot and my health, honest).

I have met the criteria ( I hope) for two challenges. The first challenge is Penny black which is to make a spring card. I combined three stamp companies in the main image, whiff of joy (girl/butterfly), High hopes (gate) and the flowers on the gate and on the bottom of the card are from a penny black stamp. I used the sketch from the basic grey challenge . Oops just looked at the sketch again, I missed out the diamond have already posted it on the challenge blog, sorry! . I used two scoops paper as my bottom layer you can just about see it. The top paper is K&co. The tag is a sticker free in a magazine layered onto card. I wasn't too sure as I was making it but I am actually quite chuffed with the result. I am delighted as it is sunny so Jimmy can take the kids to the park whilst I get crafting. He He!!

This shows you the dimension.

Hope you are not bored of my gates that open. Kinetic cards are all the rage apparently and I am a kinetic learner so I have lots of fun doing these. Hugs Pascale and thank you for taking the time to look.

Basic Grey - Texture

Hello this is a really quick one as I am going out later so can't do too much cardmaking. I coloured anya in last night and added some gems for her necklace so this is really appropriate for this challenge. I also added some ribbon to the card and accent gems to the card and dog. I kept it to a minimum but still there is a sense of texture. I used the "Eva" Basic Grey papers .

sketch saturday meets Basic Grey challenges

I have made this card for two challenges one is the sketch from sketch saturday and the other is Basic grey challenge. The challenge at basic grey is to have all round edges not an angle in sight.
The image is crafters companion I wanted to be non cutsie for this one. I love cutsie at the moment though so I am certainly not knocking it. I am looking forward to a lovely hot and sour soup and crispy duck takeaway this evening!!!!! I have not decided yet if I am going to try one more card or not.

All is forgiven and Basic Grey challenge

He redeemed himself he brought me pie and mash from Manzes on Tower bridge road .... if you come to London this is the bestest pie and mash shop I have been to. I have been to one in Tooting, one on brick lane and a few around Bermondsey, where i now live and this is by far the best. Pie and mash is not the most exotic food but it is hearty and filling on a day like today. I like chilli vinegar with mine. My eldest son is flaked out on the settee he has a temprature and he says his head hurts. A virus is the diagnosis if you go to a medical proffessional. I have made this card for the basic grey challenge ,which is a sketch. I used my new copic ciao's and I prefer them to promarkers so will be investing in some more so I can improve my technique. I used the two scoops papers and I used stella ruby paper too. I seem to keep on using this image from the whiff of joy spring collection she is just endearing for some reason. We are gonna have a big clear up now to get ready for the inspector!!!

Two challenges and two cards!

Okay so card number one is for the challenge and I used Faith is beautiful stamp. I love this stamp. It is simply beautiful. The challenge is to follow the sketch. I hope I have done it justice. I decided to be quite girly this week. Debbie who owns the crafty pad has some Teddy bear stamps and butterfly stamps out to pre order if you click on the link you will find them. She has some blog candy to give away to. I have to get around to entering that to! Gosh I am so behind these days.

This second card is for the Basic Grey challenge. The challenge is colour combos, I picked blue and brown. I used the " granola" papers. I love this image at first when my new spring collection whiff of joy stamps arrived i thought that this would be my least favourite yet I seem to used it lots. I love all of them equally. We have been shoe shopping today but really I should of been on a exercise binge, boy did I eat a shedful of food at The Chicago Rib shack yesterday. I loved every morsel of it. We got some toys in Harrods, the kids adore the toy shop there. I have been shoe shopping today over in Charlton that was surprisingly, a hassle free trip. I also brought some t-shirts and bits and bobs for the kids. Hubby got a lovely jacket! I have an award to post from Sue so I will try and do that later. I am becoming a slacker recently but just seem so busy. I think having four babies has something to do with it. Thanks for taking the time to look really appreciate it, hugs Pascale :)

Daring Cardmakers and Basic Grey challenges

Okay I managed to fit 2 into 1 for this card!!! I used Basic Grey and Daring cardmakers challenges to make this card. Basic grey challenge was to use hearts so I made this heart flower with stella ruby papers. I stamped them with a magazine freebie heart stamp into a flower and cut it out and added a gem brad. Daring cardmakers challenge was to use as much green as possible in your card. I didn't do the double dare which was to make a get well card. I used turquoise and green and grey for the swirls and green paper for the heart flower. So simple but effective I think?! I am feeling a bit scared tonight as last night there was a rat on our second floor landing!! The council refuse to come and see to it over the weekend. Wonder if we stopped paying the rent for the weekend, they would mind. Anyway not seen one so far tonight!! Will have to wait until Monday morning to get it properly sorted.

Basic Grey challenge - Oh so charming!

Hello sorry to everyone who is bored with christmas cards, but I still have some to get done. I made this using "two scoops" papers. I got the ribbon technique from Kaths blog. http://kath-allthatglitter.blogspot.com/ I got the label templates ( which I think are similar to new nestibilities) from the following blog Mel's stampz http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2008/12/square-label-or-note-shape-templates.html An aladdins cave of tips by the way! I made the little charm and stamped a merry christmas sentiment onto the label and used a paperartsy stamp to add some interest.

Oh Christmas Tree - Basic Grey Aperture

I have made a hanging christmas ornament for the tree. I have not yet got said tree. We are going to be brave and have a real one again for the second year running. I used "Two scoops" ,and a free image I found on the net that I thought matched the papers really well. Inspired by the lovely mixed media and altered art artists I have found whilst blogging. I used a smaller image and made it into a sentiment. I used utee on top of it to give it a glazed look. I think this has a shabby chic and vintage feel to it!

2 for one - DCM challenge and basic grey challenge

Hi, I combined two challenges to make this card. I am being quick ,although I always am with my posts. X factor is on soon and I have to get my teething baby to sleep too. I made this card for the DCM challenge which is coffee, you can use coffee colours, labels, anything associated with coffee basically. I used some sizzix dies. If you look really closely you can see I have embossed the drink in the cup. This and the lovely boxer basic grey papers make up the basic grey element of this 2 for one. I also added some swirls I am loving swirls at the moment.

Basic Grey challenge - Christmas

Here is my entry for this weeks Basic Grey challenge. I used acetate and vellum to make a layered effect. I stamped and chalked on the vellum. All the stamps are from Paperartsy. I used the stamps on the"boxer" papers.
I have been having another naff week. I lost about 1000 photos as my computer had to be partially recovered! Very excited and proud for Lewis though winning his first Formula one championship with such style! OH seems better so that is , better news although his firm may close which is not good news.
