Dies at Natalie and Amy's Challenge this week

Hello a tiny bit late posting today for our challenge at Natalie and Amy's this week. we have a theme of Dies we would love to see your beautiful dies in your collection"
I have gone clean and simple. I used a 4 by 4 inch square blank card from the store. I then used a Nellie snellen die to create a matt and layer for the You Rock sentiment. I added some punched flowers and some glossy accents to the card and some bling.

I hope you like it.

Spring Flowers

Good Morning I hope you are all well hasn't it got chilly again... Snow Flurries for us in the South East today!!!
I am just stopping in with a project I made for my living room. I have used Delicious Doodles images Hydrangea and Poppies. Our challenge this week is Spring Flowers.
I love using digital images with fabric I used my graphics package to recolour and create a background. I then punched a bird out from the background and printed the images onto a printable cotton fabric. I created my cushion design and before sewing together I appliqued on my birds. I also machine stitched a free hand perch for them to sit on.

Kumihimo

Hello I have found a new addiction the ancient Japanese art of Kumihimo!!! You have to try it!!! It is so relaxing and such fun. I got all my bits and pieces this week and have been playing so here are few examples of what I have done.
I would also like to enter into the fantastic Beading Friends Forever challenge. I am entering the Anything Goes part of the challenge with these creations xxx

Seeded Kumihimo using a bead mixture from Robins beads and a kumihimo finding and s-lon beading cord.

No Patterned Paper

Hello I hope you are all well and not too cold or poorly. I have had the sniffles this week so feeling a little bit low. I have also been busy doing my volunteering bits and pieces. Sometimes it makes me sad as we live in such a broken world that really needs fixing.
Onto much brighter and lovelier things. Team B have a great challenge this week over at Delicious Doodles we want to see you use no patterned papers. I am not sure if mine is cheating as I used no paper whatsoever. I decided to create some bunting to hang in my daughters bedroom.

I  printed out Fairy Fae from the Delicious Doodle shop onto A4 paper. I then painted her using H2O's I added finer details with a spectrum Noir pen.

I then created the material using printable cotton. I found some co-ordinating materials to make my bunting. Originally I had planned to write her name on the bunting but she decided she did not want me to.

Looking forward to your makes.

Hugs and Kisses

Hello I hope you are all having a great week. I have been busy with lots of voluntary work once again this week. So I have been busy crafting this weekend to relax. I am delighted that Marcea's Crafting Corner has set up the wonderful group Beading Friends Forever. I love beading so I have joined in. Their is a fantastic prize from Beads Direct so if you love beading you must hop over and  check out the challenge.

I have followed the tutorial on the blog by "Beadiful Nights". I have made this bracelet for the challenge using the Hugs and Kisses Bracelet tutorial. I  shortened the length of the bracelet and added a chain just to give my own little twist.

I used pearls and glass bicone beads  from Spoilt Rotten beads. I used monofiliment fishing line. The seed beads are from Robins Beads. The chain and toggle clasp are from my humungous stash xxx :0)

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale
