My Jewellery

My mojo is a little bit low at the moment just cannot inspire myself to get to the craft table. So I sat on the bed this afternoon for a couple of hours with my jewellary pliers, some beads, some head pins and findings and made these bracelets.
I am thinking of creating a page from which to sell these let me know if you think they would sell. I would be interested to know.

And before I go here is our pumpkin!

I have made a scrummy soup from his insides x

Keep It Simple - OOH Spooky!

This week at Keep It Simple we have a great theme of Ooh Spooky. I don't really celebrate Halloween. Although I managed to carve a pumpkin for the kids yesterday and made a delicious soup he he! I decided to make this card so it could be used for Halloween but on the other hand it could be used for a teenager boy or girl who is into "The Dark side"
Our teamie Cazro, has decided to step down from the team because she has lots of other stuff happening that she quite rightly wants to dedicate her time to. Carole, we would all like to say a huge THANK YOU to you for all you've done for KIS, we're gonna miss you and wish you well in everything you do!

And now onto this week.  We have another generous sponsor who is Funkykits and is offering one of our lucky players a delicious stamp by Mary Hall called Pulling Sledge. It is one of their sugar Nellie stamps. We are so grateful and are sure you'll agree it's a wonderful prize. Please pop over to the website to have a look at all the gorgeous goodies they have on offer.

Okay I used the gorgeous Digital Artist Scrapbook 2 again to make this card. I created my layout using Daisytrail Trick or Treat. I digitally punched the scalloped nesties and so I am entering this card into Simon says stamp challenge which has a theme of Punch 'em. I cut out my skull and cross using a sizzix die and then distressed with distress ink. I am entering this card into the Oh Alice challenge which is Halloween in Wonderland. I am also entering CES challenge who have a theme of Chocolate and caramel.

Grunge book pages for a swap I am doing.

Hi there everyone. I am just having a few crafty moments today. I had a friend over for my youngest daughter last night so Jimmy has taken them out as he is off work. I needed to get these grunge pages finished for a swap on the Lots to do Forum.
I used mainly hybrid crafting for the pages as I am so into this at the minute. There are lots of pics so i hope you don't loose to much concentration.
Okay the first one I am showing you is for the theme "Arsenic and Old Lace". I used Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 (DSA2) from Serif to make the background. I used Swirling memories scrapkit. I blended in a lace embellishment into a material and used another two embellishments as my crime scene. I distressed with an acrylic dauber and added computer generated labels.

The second one is for the theme Ghostbusters and I used a combination of embellishments from the trick or treat scrapkit  and blended them into a background from the keepsake scrapkit. I cut out a sentiment I created with the kit and bats. I then added some distress crackle and inks.

The third one I am showing you is for the theme Going Postal. I again created the background digitally. I then used distress inks, crackle glaze and overstamped with a postage stamp.
The next one is for theme Your song. For me that is Billy Joels song " She's alway's a women to me"! I created the backgrounds digitally using royalty free images and DSA2 elements. I then added a saxophone from the stash and some buttons and fibres.

This next one is Up Up and away created again using Royalty free images I created this scene on DSA2 and then added glitter and a punched border.
The final one I have made is for the theme Time.

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

New Release at Delicious Doodles

Hiya just popping by to let you know about the fantastic new release at Delicious Doodles Shop! It is this gorgeous image called Fairy.

I have made this card using her. I changed her outline colour to blue. I created some christmas tree branches using my graphics program. I wanted her to be the fairy at the top of the tree. I coloured her with sakura stardust pen and copics and promarkers. I use perfect pearls to paint the background and added some distress inks to the edge of the image.

I used papermania papers and I cut the sentiment from one of the papers too. I added a gem and some glamour dust to the image to finish off the card.

I am entering this card into the  elegance challenge at Bah Humbug. For me elegance is to show off the image and create minimum distractions from it x

Bearly Mine Designs DT call

Good Afternoon I am just popping in to show you a DT call card I have made for Bearly Mine Designs.
Here are the requirements set out by Donna on the blog.

Hello everyone, I have decided to expand my Design Team and am looking to add 6 new DT Members, if you would like to be considered then please feel free to use one or more of the freebies supplied on my shop blog and create a card or other project using these papers, and do a writeup on your blog showing off your card, then enter your name below. This term will be for 6 months.

What is expected of you:
•must have a well maintained blog that you post on regularly

•must enter card challenges using the papers from your DT kit

•must be willing to do a blog hop when we hold one

What you will receive in exchange:

•existing Digi kits currently available

•future Digi kits before they become available

If you think you would be interested in being part of this DT, please submit your application by following the steps as written above. (No emails please) This DT call is open until Nov 2nd, all successful applicants will be contacted by Nov 5th.

I used the freebies (thanks Donna they are beautiful quality) from Bearly Mine Designs to make my christmas card. I am also entering into the Winter Wonderland challenge. They have a recipe 2 design papers, 1 ribbon, 1 snowflake and 1 charm.

I printed the freebie Merry Christmas paper which you can find here directly onto some printable white card. I used this as my card base. I then printed a smaller square of the same design  and a square of  another freebie  which you can finds here. I thought they co-ordinated wonderfully.
I then stamped this beautiful Jayne Nesterenko image from the Adorables christmas collection "Playing" set. You can find them here at Crafters Companion. I coloured with copics and used some glamour dust on them to give it that christmas glisten. I added one snowflake from the set to the image too. I edged with some distress inks.
I added a ribbon, a charm and string to a button to make an embellishment and added some flowers in the corner for interest. These papers are so beautiful in there own right it would not do them justice to over embellish them.
I have had a lovely day . We took the children to Mudchute Farm in the East End came back via waitrose where we brought some mussels and fresh bread. I am off out in a moment with a friend so it has been one lovely relaxing day x

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Pampered Pooches

Hi there this week I made  a very couragous step into the world of selling my cards. I took some to a local shop. She took some to sell, sale or return. I am now going to go to a few other local boutiques and try and sell some more. I have designed these two cards for a Dog shop. They sell the fancy collars for dogs so I thought I would camp things up!
If you like what you see these images are availble to buy over at Pascale's Pad.
I have made the cards for my DT over at Keep It Simple! We have a theme of Take a Bow ( as in rhymes with NO).
I used Purple Poodle for the first card. I attached a bow to her neck and a tiara charm to her head. I then matt and layered onto some cardstock from my stash. Then added a little bling.

I used Blue Pug for the second card. I added bling and bows and again matted and layered with co-ordinating cardstock. I hope they like them I will let you all know.

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge - Autumn Colours

Hi there I have just made this christmas card to enter into Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge. Autumn colours are my favourite so this was a blissful 15 minutes of colouring listening to the kids arguing. Jimmy  has been on 12 hour days for most of the week and so I have just been pulling my hair out a bit. I have been doing housework all day so I wanted a little play just to relax.
I have used Video boy I love this image so much x I have used copics and promarkers to colour him and my background. I have then used a very simple layout and sentiment. I used Papermania papers.
Sorry to be so brief but I am just having a half hour chill time and trying to get the kids to bed xxx

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

A little nut Tree

Hi there hope you are all having a great week. I know I have been turning the thermostat up as the chilly Autumn nights have come. Still all this cold weather is a great excuse to stay indoors and craft. I am catching up on the Christmas card stash...!  I am also entering the following challenges with this card!
Tuesday Taggers - Nursery Rhymes
Totally Papercraft  - Autumn

Little Nut Tree
Teri is releasing this fabulous Digital stamp today it is called "Little Nut Tree" and is available here in the Delicious Doodle Shop!

I as you may of noticed quite like to play with my graphics program! As soon as I saw this one I just knew that I had to create my own backing paper. I  resized and changed the image to a red colour and and copied it and pasted. I overlayed it on a gold colour rectangle to compliment it. I then blended the images into the gold rectangle.

I then used a larger version of the image and recoloured it. I placed it into the corner of the paper having made it into a PNG image. I then added some text around the tree top.
For my card I cut out the larger image and added some red berry promarker pen to the edge of the cut out image. I used pinflair glue to adhere it to the backing paper that I made. I matted the backing paper to some silver mirri board and added a punched border and ribbon with button detail.

Hope you followed all that and don't forget to visit the SHOP for all the scrummy Delicious Doodles that Teri has been creating!!!

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

In A Sweet Pea Dream - Christmas!

Hi there I am exhausted I was watching the Chilean mine rescue yesterday so mentally, emotionally and physically tired. What hero's our children should be inspired by these men. Their courage, bravery, comradry, endurance, intergrity and so much more. Thank GOD for this miracle!
I have been playing this evening and I have made this card for the In a Sweet Pea Dream challenge which is all about Christmas. Well I love my MME christmas papers and they inspired the colour scheme for this one. I used promarkers and copics to colour the image and the background is cosmic shimmer.
I have embellished very simply. I used my purple cow  trimmer to create the edges to this cards.

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Tuesday Taggers

Hi there a lot of stressful things going down here at the moment. Family stuff that is a bit upsetting so I have had to destress and what better than playing on my new digital scrapbook Artist. I have been hybrid cardmaking again. I am really into using digital stamps and papers to create cards. I am entering this card into the Tuesday Taggers theme of things with more than four legs
I have made two fantasty art cards using Tamed Dragon and Jewelled Fairy you can find them HERE at Delicious Doodles!
Tamed Dragon
I made this card on my graphics package called Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 from Serif. So the image is merged into the background. It means you can layer things but the postage works out a lot cheaper! :0) I then cut it out and added to a 6 by 6 inch card.
I added some pearls , string and button and a stamped sentiment. I coloured in the mushrooms and image with promarkers and H2O's.

Close up of Tamed Dragon
For more amazing inspiration please hop over to The Delicious Doodles Blog to see another of my creations and those of the wonderful DT!
More Yummy digital stamps can be found in Teri's shop Delicious Doodles

Keep It Simple - Seeing Stars

Hi there at Keep It Simple we have a fantastic theme of Seeing Stars. Lots of ways this could be interpreted hop over and see the other DT's cards to see how this has been done. I love the X factor did you see it last night I love Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson and Paige my faves so far. So this card is slightly inspired by this show!
The gorgeous Kenny K digital download is coloured with promarkers, copics and stardust pens. I used a template to cut a star and then I cut around the edge to make a matt for the star. I added some faux stitching. I used a Martha Stewart punch to create lots of borders and added some bling! The sentiment is from a Sweet Pea Stamps plate!

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Tag You're It! - The Jewellary Quarter

Morning hope you are all having a splendid weekend. I have been tackling nits so not such a good one having to comb four heads plus my own LOL xxx Still thank the Lord for craft!!!
This week over at Tag You're it! we have theme of The jewellery quarter. I decided to use a fantastic image from Delicious Doodles Shop called Jewelled Fairy she was released yesterday. I coloured her with promarkers, copics and sakura pens. I cut her out and was originally just going to place her on the DP. The shape I cut reminded me of a mushroom so I made a stalk and a mushroom for her to sit on.
I added part of a sweet pea stamp sentiment some bits from the stash including a button, string and beads.
I am entering this card into the CES challenge Blog they have a theme of Tags this week!

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale
