The Crafty Purple Frog want no squares....!!!

Good Morning to you all I am so hoping Mr Blogger behaves himself. We are off to the hospital for a ward visit today to see how Jimmy is coping since the oral antibiotics finished last week. He has to have a scan and bloods done and a chat with the doctors. Will let you know on Friday how it all went.
I am LOVING our theme over at The Crafty Purple Frog.  We want to see NO SQUARES this week. I am really enjoying playing with templates at the moment so I have used this screen gatefold from My Craft Studios Encyclopedia of Card and Papercraft Templates and folds.
I used the gorgeous image from The Crafty Purple Frog called Unregrettable Life Pyramage. I used some backing papers from Craftartist ( Serif software) and I cut out some of the embellishments to create the scene at the bottom. I added some bits and bobs from the stash and I also added some stickles.
As always their are some fab prizes on offer at the challenge and AWESOME inspiration so please hop on over xxx

Mo's DP2 challenge wants to see attitude...!!!

Hi there I love Mo's images they always bring a GIGANTIC smile to my face as I colour them in xxx I also love entering the Mo's DP2 challenge as they always set a great theme and this weeks is awesome a chance to get a bit cheeky (in my case). They want to see Attitude on our projects.
I have an attitude always have since I was a little girl. I like to think of it as a strong sense of my beliefs and standing by what I believe others think of it as attitude. So I decided to use this cutie Two Gill available at Mo's Store for my Mothers day card. She was coloured with promarkers and copics and sakura pen. I used MME papers some embellies from my stash and a computer generated sentiment. The card is coredinations.
Hope you are having a great weekend I am listening to the kids squabbling over petty thing. Tomorrow my Mum is coming over to give my eldest son his present for his birthday on Monday and we are taking her for a meal on the river as a late birthday/ early mothers day treat.

I went with a watercoloured look using my aquamarkers and I added some shimmer with stardust pens and some shine with a glaze pen.

Delicious Doodles Challenge - Floral Fantasy

Hello I am a bit late with posting today we have had a bit of a bumpy week with lots of financial stuff and medical appointments and stuff to sort out. I have had a tough morning so this is going to be really short and sweet. I hope all of you who are going to the NEC have a fabulous time ( I am very jealous x).
This week over at the Delicious Doodles challenge the theme is Floral Fantasy. We know that you and us all love our flowers. We just want to see lots of flowers on your creations.
Guess what I am sponsoring this weeks challenge so please hop on over to the challenge as you could win  3 Collections of your choice from Pascale's PAD.
I love Teri's floral images so I used the gorgeous Hydrangea image for my card. The papers are from my shop and are from the Spring floral Collection Pink/ Grey.
I knicked the card shape idea from an item I saw on the paper clinic on Create and Craft TV. I loved the idea of this acetate stepper card so here is my interpretation. The Hydrangea is coloured with promarkers copics and prismacolour pencils.
I am entering this card into two challenges that have the same theme of something Girlie or for mum. They are the Simon Says Stamp challenge and Papertake Weekly

In the Land of Make Believe....!!!

Hi there I hope you are all having a suntastic Monday. It certainly is like that here in London. The sun is blazing and it just makes me feel so good.
I have managed to make this card for two challenges this weekend. A little decoupage for a change and a spot of CD crafting something I love doing but since being in blogland have kind of lost my sense of a little bit what with all the gorgeous stamps and papers that I have discovered.
So this one is for Totally Papercrafts challenge they would like us to add buttons to our projects meanwhile the girls over at CES challenge would love us to use or be inspired by our favourite song. One of the first records I brought was " In the Land of Make Believe" by Bucks Fizz way back in the 80's this is what has inspired this card. I made this for one of my daughters friends who has just had a baby sister. All the papers and the decoupage can be found on the " Flower Fairies of the Garden" CD rom from Crafters Companion.

Time for a Delicious Doodles Challenge - 3D project

Good Afternoon, I hope you are all having a FAB Friday I certainly am. I have taken Jimmy to the doctors this morning and then we went to do a shop at Icelands so they can deliver it. We then went to my church for a cuppa and a cake and a natter. He bumped into a couple of mates whilst we were shopping and he had a good old chat at church with some of the people we know there.

So I am posting this a bit late. Over at the wonderful Delicious Doodles Challenge we have a theme of "Making a 3D project" I love these sorts of challenge as it gets the old grey matter thinking what can I do. My DT teamies have come up with some awesome projects well worth checking out if you enjoy making homemade gifts.

I have made a giftbag using the wonderful new release Seahorses. I used my graphics program craft artist from Serif to create this. I used the "Underwater" digikit available at Daisytrail. I used a giftbag template. I used a background and added some fish, seahorses and plants from the embellishments section of the digikit.
I added the image Seahorses from the Delicious Doodles Shop and used the blend mode to create the colourised effect.

I added some ribbons and some charms to finish it off.

Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge- Easter

Hi there everyone I had a lovely time watching my son perform The Tempest at The Globe. We were in the Gentlemans Box and had a perfect view. Jimmy enjoyed his day out too so I am really happy all around. I spoke to the teacher and they are pushing for a paediatric assessment to take place asap xxx
I treated myself to the wonderful Fairyopolis CD rom yesterday which is from Crafters Companion I am so looking forward to playing with it as I adore the Flower Fairies.
I dug out some of my other CD roms The Tale of Peter Rabbit, as they have been hiding in the cupboard for far too long and I made this card for the challenge over at Crafters Companion Challenge blog. The Challenge this month is Easter. All the papers and the decoupage are from the CD The Tale of Peter Rabbit I added some pearls from the stash some ribbon and some cardstock.

To be or not to be....

Good morning a busy little day ahead today. I am off to see my son Harry at The Globe his class are taking part in a performance of "The Tempest". I am not a big Shakespeare fan but I am so excited. I am also off to see Bradie youngest daughters teacher. I have to try and push for an assessment of her as she is so behind and I feel she may be audiologically dyslexic. If she is I feel I will need to push for a statement.

I am also bringing you my DT card for the brilliant Crafty Purple Frog ChallengeI love this weeks theme which is to use Green in honour of St Patricks Day.
I used the lovely Invertage that is available on this gorgeous sheet called Green Sea Turtle. I used some Basic Grey Papers and a sentiment from Sweet Pea Stamps and ribbon from The Ribbon Girl. Gotta dash a really hetic day.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge -Green

For one reason or another this week I have been creating lots of Green cards and I have really discovered that I love using this colour and I have discovered so many papers hidden in my stash that really should see the light of day more often.

I have made this card for the super Penny Black Challenge . They have a theme of Green. I have used an image and sentiment my transparent Purrfect Day set. A gorgeous collection of pussycats on here. I have a very unsteady hand so sorry about my glittering with some glitter glue a wee bit wonky.

On a family note we took a wee walk to the park that is near our home today so that was very encouraging and great for Jimmy to get some fresh air xxx

From Fireman Sam to Batman in a wink of an eye....

Hello and I hope you are all having a safe and happy Saturday. My thoughts and prayers remain with those in Japan and the Pacific.
I have been rudely awoken at 6.00am by the kids but have managed to get out to the shop buy my new clothes horse and some ingredients for pancakes ( not enough time Tuesday) and yummy flapjacks. Jimmy managed to put up my clothes horse so I am now doing a wash to christen it ...!!! I got the kids a couple of toys with there birthday money. My little 3 year old Max is obsessed with Batman so he got an outfit. My youngest daughter Bradie got a doll that you can style the hair on but I think my oldest will be playing with that more than her...! xxx
I made this card yesterday for one of my favourite challenges Mo's Digital Pencil challenge. I have not managed to join in recently as real life has been so busy but now OH is home from hospital I hope to be back to joining in every week.

The theme is to use Green. I hope you like my take on the theme.

A Pink Mermaid...

My heart is really with the people of Japan and the Pacific today. As a young girl I spent hours learning origami with the Japenese students that stayed with us. My mum taught French at a Japenese school so we would often have students to stay.
I have been watching the news coverage and it is just mindblowing that all this destruction is caused by two plates of the earth meeting.
I have a card to show you that I have made for Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge. It was my daughters birthday last Sunday and this is the card I made for her. She loves Mermaids so this beauty from the Terra Bidelspacher collection is perfect for her. I used promarkers and copics to colour with a touch of sakura stardust pen. Our theme is scallops this week so I used a Martha Stewart punch to create my scallops.
I am entering it into the following challenges
Simons Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Green should be seen ...

Hello I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend. I know I am this week I have had a really tough week full of ups and downs. We went to the hospital on Tuesday and were sent home with oral antibiotics two very strong ones as the scan showed that the temporal abcess had disappeared and the subdural abcess was very very tiny. So home we came.
On Wednesday Jimmy started getting prickly feelings so on Thursday I contacted the GP who failed to contact me back so I contacted the hospital doctors directly. They seemed to think he should continue with the antibiotics so that we have done. The GP have been atrocious throughout this and today I decided to change practise as yesterday they were so rude to me when I tried to get some information from them.
On the ups my gorgeous Baby Boy Max turned 3 on Thursday x I cannot believe it x
We have a great theme over at the Delcious Doodles Challenge this week which is to Use Green on your project and a St Patricks theme is optional. I will not send any St Patricks cards so I decided to just Use Green.
I made this box frame  for my daughter to display in her room. I used a background from Serif Craft artist platinium range and I used the template from My Craft Studio " The Encyclopedia of card and papercraft templates and folds".
The image is designed by Teri and is available from the Delicious Doodles Shop. She is called Cupcake Fairy. I coloured her with promarkers and copics and added some stickles.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge -More than one fold!

Hi there I have found a tiny bit of time to make this card for the wonderful Penny Black Challenge.  I have never made a twisted easel card so that is the multifold I went for. I wanted to use several stamps from the set so I made a little scene. This is going to be my card for my son's birthday on Thursday. He is going to be 3.
I kept it very simple. Thanks for all your comments that have been left regards Jimmy. It is lovely to read them and gives me lots of strength to get through each day. He has been doing extremely well the last couple of days.

A better day...!

Hello there today has been a BETTER day!!!! The antibiotic mix seems to be a better one and Jimmy is less shaky as he has had his Epilepsy meds. I am chilling now as I have been racing around 24 MPH. I have been shopping for my two lovely youngest babies who both have birthday next week and I have been dusting and hoovering, washing sheets, cooking, collecting kids and remaking beds and of course being nurse, secretary and stuff for my lovely Jimmy.
I have my DT card for the wonderful challenge over at Delicious Doodles Challenge!!! You really want to check out this weeks AWESOME prize from the super funkyhand they are giving the winner the latest CD rom called "Craftaway the Year" I am sooooo jealous of the winner already.
Our theme is to Make the card you would like to receive. I love Clean and Simple but not too clever at it so at the moment that is the style I like as I want to improve on this style. I LOVE poppies they are my favourite flower. They are a bit of a rebel like me they grow all over the place and are very free spirited. So I chose to use Teri's image Poppies which is one of Teri's beautiful sketchy style images. I used promarkers to colour it. I used a Mark Twain sentiment as I love verses on cards. I added a corner stamp and some pearls for a touch of detail.

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Life is a Rollercoaster...!!!

Hi there I am a bit confused and dazed at the moment. My trust in the NHS has returned to rock bottom following a relapse this week. On Monday the  nurses noted some changes in the blood levels of Jimmy and he was called back into hospital to have his antibiotic reviewed on Tuesday night. We waited for 4 hours for patient transport and I had to push for him to have a bed (he ended up on the private ward).
He had a reaction to one of the antibiotics and so they had to keep him in for a further night and to change the antibiotic. He went to a ward where I was hugely disappointed. They let him sit in a chair and wait 4 hours for a bed. They did not book his patient transport to an outpatient appointment to the correct hospital. They left him without pain relief and without EPILEPSY medication for 36 hours. I tried to contact them about this at today and I am still awaiting the sister in charge to call me back.
On the upside he went to an ENT outpatient appointment and will be having an op on his ear again in June to investigate further. Oh and I have him home yippee!!!!
My gorgeous Georgina won the book review competition in her class today so I am a very proud Mummy and she got into her first choice of secondary school xxx
Enough of my  rollercoaster ride of life here is my  DT card for today's challenge over at The Crafty Purple Frog. We want to see " Things with Wings" I chose the lovely Peacock Blue Decoupage. I printed onto some glossy card and used silicone  glue to decoupage it. I used some papers, card and sentiment from the hunkydory Spring Elegance kit. The ribbon is from the ribbon girl.
Hop on over to the Challenge where there are some great prizes to win including some images from Delicious Doodles!

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale
