Use a Charm

Good Morning to you all. I hope everyone is having a good June. Such a shame our weather has not brightened up. Nevermind I have made this bright card for the new challenge starting today at the wonderful Delicious Doodles Challenge. We want you to Use a Charm in your project. I had this cute dolphin charm in my stash and wondered what to team it with. I decided to use two of Delicious Doodles summery images... Beach Huts and Deckchair. I used distress inks to paint them and I used some twine to hold my charm. I used two embossing folders to create my textured matt and layer. I used Crafters Companion chevron 6 by 6 folder and Cuttlebug argyle.

Challenges entered are:

Crafting by Designs - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me - Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

All Creatures Great and Small

Yay the sun is out this Friday morning and it is time for Team B to inspire you at the Delicious Doodles challenge. this weeks theme is All Creatures Great and Small. I chose a larger creature from Teri's awesome collection of animal images. this image is Tiger
I printed off my image large enough to sit nicely on an A5 card. I painted with distress inks. I then embossed a pie e of white card with a leaf stencil. I painted some of the leaves. I mounted onto card and added a sentiment.

Challenges I am entering are:

Aud Sentiment - Anything Goes
Digi stamps for joy - Masculine

leather and Beads

Hi I am excited to share my bracelet with you for the Beading Friends Forever Challenge tutorial. the tutorial is In the Garden Wrap Bracelet. it says it takes 6-8 hours but I did mine in about  2-3 Hours.

I used brown leather a button from my stash three colours of s-lon  some bronze miyuki cube beads and som 8/0 seed beads. I slightly altered the Bollywood style macramé by using less seed beads than the tutorial.

Macramé new technique for me

Hello the sun is fairly reluctant to committ to staying out in London today. I decided to try Macramé this afternoon. OMG love this technique it is very relaxing and great effects can be made. This is a simple bracelet for the multistrand component of the Beading Friends Forever challenge.

I used blue leather cord, white S-lon , 6/0 and 8/0 seed beads from my stash and the button from my stash. I do not have a thread zapper yet so I used a lighter. I am waiting for a few supplies from the sponsor Beads Direct so I can do the tutorial part of the challenge.

Beading Friends Forever Challenge

Hello where did that sunshine disappear too. We had a trip to The British Museum today to see Mummy's and Roman Coins. There is so much inspiration in there. I exchanged some club card vouchers so we popped into ASK by Tower Bridge on the way home Yummy!

So today sees a new challenge at Beading Friends Forever. I love this jewellery challenge. this quick but very elegant necklace has been made for the multistrand part of the challenge. I have just ordered some leather and s-lon for the tutorial part of the challenge so I will share at a later date with you all. I ordered from the sponsors Beads Direct who are a great company for all your beading needs.
This necklace was made using some beads from Beaders Companion that I have had in my stash for ages. I also used some Tibetan beads from my stash. I used two lengths of Beadalon, two crimps and a toggle clasp. I simply strung the beads and attached to toggle with the clasp. When on the neck this sits at two levels and looks really elegant.
