It's raining, its pouring ---!

Good Afternoon well I have scrubbed and cleaned like a maniac this  morning and two of my projects have dried so I thought as it is raining and pouring I would get blogging them on here!
The poor children when is the weather going to perk up so we could at least get to the park. We have no garden so this weather is fustrating  for us.
Okey dokey. I have two cards to show to you all today.
The first one is for Donna's Den of crafts challenge they want to see Lots of layers on your card.
I used My Craft Studio tattered Lace CD rom to create this image and then I decoupaged the rose. I used co-ordinating backing papers from the CD and I added some lace and some ribbons and a button from the stash I also added some glossy accents to the leaves and the sentiment.

The second card is for the challenge to celebrate my blogging buddy Teri's Delicious Doodles first birthday bash!
I grabbed this freebie last week and I am using it to enter this one off challenge which gives the winner a chance to get 10 of  Teri's Delicious Doodles.
To make my card I framed the image with a frame from My Craft Studio tattered lace CD rom. I used two backing papers to layer it onto. I printed it out and I coloured the image with promarkers adding glossy accents to the vase. I added some ribbon and a button and some faux stitching.

Tag You're It - Sam's August Tag Swap!

Hello as you can see by my earlier post it is the school holidays and time is running away with me so here is my DT tags for Tag You're it this week. It is a special one this week as Sam is hosting a Tag Swap. It is always fantastic to receive artwork from fellow crafters as although photography is great it is always great to see the texture and techniques in the flesh.

Sam chose a colour theme of Burnt orange, Olive and Antique cream. Here are my three tags that interpret this colour theme.

I used elusive images stamps. I used distress ink to cover the white card to make it distressed. I then stamped onto it using green ink and the flowers I stamped I embossed. I then made some flowers using paper and I coloured in with cosmic shimmers. I then used some embellies out of the stash to create some interest. I also decided to create a punched corner on the ends of the tags. There are three tags made using the same ingredients.

Thanks for stopping by hugs Pascale

Sweet Pea Stampers - A Sketch by Me x

Afternoon! I have had a jam packed week and weekend so have not had time to schedule this post. I am having a cuppa and a bit of computer time having just spent three hours cleaning.
I have been out and about with the kids last week and on Saturday we had a lovely walk down the river and popped into the Tate Modern. We saw the Tate Peregrines which are birds that sit on top of the building. We also viewed the Tate Collection. My son gave  a wonderful critique of Jackson Pollocks surrealist painting The naked man with knives.
Yesterday  I went to Ikea got a blind and some storage solutions. I love it there! We then had a lovely lunch with my sister in law and her two girls.
This morning I have had a good tidy up and we have lots of plans for the week ahead!!!!

Okay a busy week at Sweet Pea Stampers we have a special candy for the month of August which gives every entrant the chance to enter the draw for a $20 shopping spree with Lynette at Sweet Pea Stamps!!!!!

I added as Sweet Pea sentiment too. There are two Lisa Victoria images for this weeks prize donated by Sweet Pea Stamps and some bling donated by new DT member VANESSA.
