Spiral Peyote Stitch

Hi there I am back with another bracelet to share with you. For years I have loved beading but unfortunately a papercraft addiction that I gained got in the way of my love for it. Now I am well and truely in love with my beading again. The great thing about this craft is that you can wear your goodies you have made and show them off to everyone.
I have found this fanatastic tutorial over at You Tube by Kelly from Up the Beaded Path. It is for a Spiral Peyote stitch. It looks complicated but once  you have started off it is really repetitive and so relaxing. I have tried some other spiral stitches and this one at the moment is my favourite. I am
working on another piece as we speak.

I want to enter this into the fantastic Beading Friends Forever Challenge which this month wants our favourite colour combinations. I love odd colour combinations and I have also loved Green and Purple together since I was a teenager. I also love black as it adds a touch of class to everything.
There is a prize of £15.00 to spend at the wonderful Beads Direct so try and join in the fun xxx

Inspired by Beading Friends Forever challenge I have created another double spiral bracelet. This is a great pattern for a double spiral bracelet from Up The Beaded Path You Tube video.

Die Cuts at Delicious Doodles!

Hi everyone a busy week here two birthdays to celebrate. My daughter turned 8 on Wednesday and my baby son turns 5 on Sunday.
I have made this card for my DT piece at Delicious Doodles Challenge. We have a theme of Die Cuts we want to see all your lovely Dies on your projects.
I have a friend who is raising money for Evelina Childrens Hospital here in London and he is running the marathon. I helped him raise some money by making some cards. Here are a couple of the Mothers Day ones I made using Teri's image Butterfly Border and Gothic Architectural Papers
I used a pretty Edgability from Spellbinders and a Nestibility from Spellbinders as my dies on a gold mirriboard.

Challenges I would love to enter are:

4 Crafty Chicks - Dies for Dies
Card Mania - Butterflies and Fairies

Double Spiral Bracelet

Hi just blogging my second entry for the Beading Friends Forever Challenge. I made it following the tutorial from Up the beaded Path on You Tube.
I used Swaroski crystal pearls from the Sponser Beads Direct. I used two seed beads either side as I liked this better than three.

Beading Friends Forever favourite colour combination

Hello just stopping in to show you a long magatama kumihimo bracelet I designed for the challenge at Beading Friends Forever. This is for the favourite colour combination part. I used wine reds, pinks and lilacs with silver. I used four different styles of long Magatama beads from Robins Beads. The clasp is from Spoilt Rotten beads as are the end caps. The thread is from the Sponser Beads direct as is the Kumihimo board I used to weave the bracelet.
