Friday sketchers

I made this card for the Friday sketchers challenge which has a lovely sketch to interpret. I used my new Edwin Zookeeper stamp and the silhouette stamp both by Magnolia. I created a sign using alcohol inks, the silhouette stamp, rubbons, corkboard and card distressed with distress inks. I used the sketch to create the background. I used made some grass to add to the green and I made a trailing plant using some stamps from my stash. I coloured in Edwin with promarkers.

Friday Sketchers

I have followed the sketch at Friday sketchers for this card. The stamps are from Whiff of joy. I thinks she is beautiful! I got the papers recently from Bunny Zoe's crafts they are by K&co and are stunning. Hope you like it. I am off to Southwark festival in Southwark Park if the weather holds out. My friend who is a songwriter and artist is playing. The Batchelors, The Blockheads and Alexander O Neal are also on.

3 challenges in one card!!!

I made this card for three challenges. High hopes challenge was to use mainly pink and brown on your card. Basic Grey's challenge was to use doodling and I used the sketch from Friday sketchers .
I used the main image stamp from high hopes stamps. I used H20's to colour the image. I then used a basic grey stamp to make the flowers and doodled the stems and the leaves. The paper is also from basic grey.
The weather has been gorgeous but I have chosen to stay in and craft as I am shattered after all the shenanigans this week. We went to Godstone Farm yesterday which was a really lovely day out may post some pics up tomorrow. Hope you are all enjoying the bank Holiday!!!

Friday Sketchers

Good evening, We are experiencing a mini monsoon here in London!!!!Don't know where it came from. I have been making this card for the Friday sketchers challenge . I ,have ordered my new Miss anya stamps today from the USA ,so in honour of Miss anya new releases I used her for this card. I used pink and brown for my colour pallette. Loved the sketch ,slightly unusual which I enjoy in challenges. I received my new sewing machine today and am hoping to make myself a shopping bag so keep your eyes peeled for my sewing attempts. I was a failure at school so I will be using You tube videos to excess to try and master it!!!!

Friday Sketchers

Friday sketchers are celebrating this week so there are lots of prizes on offer so pop over and check out the gorgeous sketch for this week as there are lots more opportunities to get a little something. I made this card using monochrome as I love the effect it gives and need to practise the colouring technique. I used a gorjuss girl from set two and some papers by Basic Grey and doodlebug designs. I also used some flowers by imagincense and used promarkers to colour the image,a black outliner and a white gelly pen. I added a fairly generic sentiment so as not to limit the purpose of the card.
We are off to a party for a friends 10 year old boy later so I may try and get a card or too in before we go will see how good time is to me.

Friday sketchers

Hello I have made this for the sketch at Friday sketchers . I find this image quite hard to colour so that was my challenge to me. I love the HOTP vintage papers so I used these and kept the colouring along the vintage theme. A really simple sketch but that is sometimes harder to interpret. I loved this weeks sketch. I am feeling rather strange as one of my brood is missing. She is at brownie camp until sunday. I know she loves going so I am not worried, this is her second one. I hope she is not too cold or ill or missing us, who said I am not worried.

Friday sketchers!

Hi everyone well the balloons are up and the cake brought not yet become a stepford wife so don't always have time to bake my own. I have made this card for the challenge at Friday sketchers, miles more fun than baking! I have used a gorjuss girl. I love this one she is so cute. I used K & co papers and stamped on some swirls and the climber is a crafters companion stamp as is the sentiment. A man is drilling the road and it is rather annoying so I hope he finishes very soon!!!!

Challenges, and a grumpy me!!!!

I have been unable to comment on peoples work as my computer is very angry/ unwell!!!! I have been cleaning all morning our flat has mould everywhere and I have to scrub it off. I am awaiting an assessment by the housing inspector. Hopefully he will decide to move us out and we will finally get rehoused. I think he needs a medical so I think next week that is what we will be doing!!!!! I have been able to make some cards and I have been left some surprises by my lovely blog/crafty friends hopefully I will be able to post these later Thanks Sue and Lorraine A check out my sidebar for their gorjuss blogs!!!! So this post will be jam packed ,I am afraid. Scroll down for the relevant challenge it will appear somewhere in this post, promise.

This card is for the saturday sketch. Check out my sidebar for a link to them. When I first saw it I didn't think I would enjoy it. However I loved it!!!! I had coloured in this image the other day and I thought I would use her. I had some leftover 12x12 papers so I used them and it came together like a dream. I am just so happy with this card and I will use the sketch again I am sure.

This card is for the Daring cardmakers challenge again check out the sidebar to find a link to their blog. I have used a gorjuss girl as I had to stamp and colour all of them in on arrival and so have to use them on cards too. The challenge was to use circles. Hope I have done so.

This card is for the Friday sketchers challenge you can find a link to them in my sidebar and I thought this was a brilliant sketch. Gorjuss girl again hope you are not bored of me using them.

Friday sketchers

Hi had a bit of a good day. Kids doing what they should do instead of having to be told. How long will it last? Perhaps it is the temptation of Harrods and Chicago Rib shack tomorrow that is doing the trick! I have done this very pink card for the sketch at Friday sketchers . I wanted to use my new stamps from Whiff of Joy but I wanted to try and use her differently. So I chose pink as my theme. Off to view another house shortly so I hope this is the one!

I put seed beads in the middle. I used some beads and wirework and the papers are Basic Grey "stella ruby" I loved doing this it was a pure joy.

Friday sketchers - Murmurs sketch

A stunning sketch at Friday sketchers. I have just had the most wonderful arty evening creating this one! It is the first night I have not had to lie with the baby most of the evening, in about two weeks! I loved making the beaded embellishments. Not played much with beads in months. Mental note to do more often. I had a rubbish day as the place was way too tiny. I have a horrible blocked head and so this made up for all that.
