sketch saturday meets Colour Create

Having been to the wedding bash yesterday I am a bit behind with challenges so I have had to start combining them today. Well first post today is for fave sketch blog Sketch Saturday I decided to combine it with Colour create whose challenge is Pink, white and black and to incorporate polka dots if you wish too. Now I have been quite radical here and I flipped the sketch and popped it on a circle card.

I felt a buzz of creativity this morning following a bit of country goodness yesterday! Th beautiful surroundings of yesterday just perked me up no end. I have had a restful morning watching the Shanghai Grand Prix and Jimmy has taken the babes out so I can have a few hours peace!!

The card is coloured with copics and I also coloured in my dots with copics on the ribbon. I used doodlebug papers and cuttlebugged some bassil bling card stock. The image is a download ( holly and Madison) available at charmed cards and craft.

Colour Create - Coffee and cream

A very Happy Easter to you all!!!

Well thanks to the marvellous theme at colour create this week I managed to get my friends wedding card made hurray! The optional challenge is distressing. I had been mulling over an idea for the card and decided I would go with whatever the them was at colour create as this challenge gives you the option to use a variety of technique and style of card. So the theme is vintage for Anita's wedding card. I used a vintage image that I sprayed with a shine spray and then heat gunned. I then sprayed it again this caused a kind of distressed feel. I then chose some papers to match and created two hearts one I cuttlebugged with my congratulations folder and one I used some card I stencilled sprayed with glimmer mists. I cut out some frames with my nesties and distressed all the edges of everything on the card. I computer generated the sentiment. I made my bouquet and I also added some roses to the top corner. I also have decorated the inside that is my sneaky peek. I am hoping she likes it she has an Textiles Art degree so lots to live up to.

High hopes challenge - sketch

I have made this for the high hopes challenge which is this gorgeous sketch. I used the well stamp. I do not have many high hopes stamps those that I have are the background ones. I used some paper piercing around the edge of the cirlces and the corners of the card. The image is coloured with copic ciaos. Had a fairly dull day today as I had to wait for the man to come about the boiler. I cleaned and washed most of the day. I have not got much crafting done at all. Off to check the jacket potatos and eat mine he he !!!

I sit and wait does an angel contemplate my fate! ( Robbie Williams)

Hello I made this card for the "Don't be square challenge" over at The Greeting Farm . I love this angel stamp and this is the first outing for her as a stamp in her entirity, I used her to make Amy Winehouse the other week. I used my scalloped rectangular nesties to make the non square card and I used pearl buttons with rub ons for the sentiment.
What a day we wanted to go shopping in Charlton but the traffic in Greenwich was horrific so we headed home. I will have to go inbetween Jades funeral tomorrow. I will pop down the road to pay my respects as she passes through the blue. They are walking her from a local pub through the blue and stopping at the market where her grandparents had a stall. It is 2 minutes from my flat. Look out for me on sky news!

A spoonful of sugar!! - sketch

Great sketch for the challenge at A spoonful of sugar this week. I made this card may use it for an emergency Easter card should I find I have not made enough. A friend has asked me to organise a card making evening so I am going to be preparing for that over tonight and tomorrow. She wants us to make an Easter card so I have several ideas in mind. It is a mixture of ages and abilities so I will probrably keep the card quite simple. It will be a practise of my abilities to teach crafting so I am kinda looking forward to it. Harry came home fine from school so my fretting was not necessary.

Hi a late one for me. I have made a card for the club anya challenge which is to make a rockin rebel out of all your greeting farm stamps. I made the most current British rockin rebel Amy Winehouse. I used Angel Anya and Ian from Rock the farm. I used the hair from Ian and Angel Anya for Amy's famous beehive and Angel anya for the rest of her. I made her into the cover of Rolling stone Magazine as she has been on the front cover. I took inspiration from her album title "Back to black" and used just black and white. If you have some Anya or Greeting farm stamps check out the challenge as it is real fun and the other entrants and the Design teams are all fab!

Two for one here I have used the colour create challenge which was to use brown and blue and lace and pearls were an additional challenge. I used a lace stamp and pearls on my wire and on my card. The crafty pad challenge was to twist something on your card so I used some twisted wire at the top of the card as an embellishment. You can find links to both challenges in my side bar.

Two challenges and two cards!

Okay so card number one is for the challenge and I used Faith is beautiful stamp. I love this stamp. It is simply beautiful. The challenge is to follow the sketch. I hope I have done it justice. I decided to be quite girly this week. Debbie who owns the crafty pad has some Teddy bear stamps and butterfly stamps out to pre order if you click on the link you will find them. She has some blog candy to give away to. I have to get around to entering that to! Gosh I am so behind these days.

This second card is for the Basic Grey challenge. The challenge is colour combos, I picked blue and brown. I used the " granola" papers. I love this image at first when my new spring collection whiff of joy stamps arrived i thought that this would be my least favourite yet I seem to used it lots. I love all of them equally. We have been shoe shopping today but really I should of been on a exercise binge, boy did I eat a shedful of food at The Chicago Rib shack yesterday. I loved every morsel of it. We got some toys in Harrods, the kids adore the toy shop there. I have been shoe shopping today over in Charlton that was surprisingly, a hassle free trip. I also brought some t-shirts and bits and bobs for the kids. Hubby got a lovely jacket! I have an award to post from Sue so I will try and do that later. I am becoming a slacker recently but just seem so busy. I think having four babies has something to do with it. Thanks for taking the time to look really appreciate it, hugs Pascale :)

What a Wednesday!!!!

My son woke up yesterday and could not get out of bed!!! So when he finally got off the bed we got ready and went to take two children to school and my son to the doctors. I was sent from the GP to casualty. Here my son was given an x-ray to his hip and blood tests followed by an ultra sound scan!!! He had fluid around his joint so the doctor firstly wanted him to stay in overnight however the orthopedic doctor said he could come home with a follow up next week. I spent from 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon in hospital with him. He went to school this morning walking much more easily!!! So not much crafting done I did however make my card for the arty girlz challenge, which is flowers. Here is hoping today is a lot more simple! Hope you like it! Thanks for taking the time to read and look at my blog I am deeply appreciative!
