Simon Says Stamp - Celebration

Hi there I have had a terrific day today. I met the lovely Joey for coffee this morning and we had a really good time. I then met my girlies from church for lunch at one of their houses. I then came home and made this card for the Simon says stamp challenge. I used this gorgeous pink gem stamp ( sent by Lorraine thanks so much hun). My niece celebrates her second birthday next week so I thought this would be great for her. I used dovecraft papers and added a flower and a charm with a lace ribbon.

Friday Sketchers

Good evening, We are experiencing a mini monsoon here in London!!!!Don't know where it came from. I have been making this card for the Friday sketchers challenge . I ,have ordered my new Miss anya stamps today from the USA ,so in honour of Miss anya new releases I used her for this card. I used pink and brown for my colour pallette. Loved the sketch ,slightly unusual which I enjoy in challenges. I received my new sewing machine today and am hoping to make myself a shopping bag so keep your eyes peeled for my sewing attempts. I was a failure at school so I will be using You tube videos to excess to try and master it!!!!

Sketch Saturday meets Colour Create challenge

The sketch I used is from sketch saturday . I flipped it. I used the colour scheme from Colour create which is to use blue and green. The optional extra is to use paperpiecing. I paperpieced Miss Anya's outfit and her hairband. She reminds me of a diva so I used this as my sentiment.

3 in 1 card!

I have made this card for 3 challenges Papertake weekly has a theme of pastels so I chose pastel colours of green and yellow. A spoonful of sugar asks us to use die cuts so I used my sizzix flourish die cut for my embellishments at the side of the card and added some white mulberry paper flowers. I used my fabulous new download (over 60 images included) from charmed cards and craft for the Dotties world challenge that also asked us to use no patterned papers and to create our own background. With the scene I created I did not want to overshadow it with a cluttered background ,so I simply added some yellow backing paper and some cuttlebugged card and made the flourish. I hope this card meets all the different criteria set by the challenges. It is my first card made using this set of downloads and I loved using them and highly recommend them.

Papertake weekly - Dawny's sketch

Another great sketch from Dawny this week at Papertake weekly . I have used Ian from my Rock the Farm set of stamps by The Greeting Farm. I have also used a high hopes stamp for the background. I used a mixture of copics, promarkers and sakura pens to colour in. I used some pearlescent green card and some white card to layer. I have added some faux stitching and paper pierced the holes. I have a bit of a downer mood at the moment and it has clashed with the holidays, I need some strength to snap out of it! I am quite strong at getting out of them just the pressure cooker effect of having the kids 24/7 literally for the last 9 years. Just keep saying "I am in the thick of it".

Inspired by club anya's challenge rockin rebel I have adapted Rockstar anya by giving her a haircut and adding the legs of Ian from rock the farm! I also decoupaged the guitar. I hope he likes it!!! I had a blast as I do like to change. I used HOTP plain papers that i distressed with an emery board and added some swirls.

Colour create - Lime green, turquoise and navy

Hi this week Colour create challenged us to use no patterned paper as an optional challenge and the colours Lime green, Turquoise and navy on our cards. I used my new sugar nellie stamp. I made the background from part of my Ian greeting farm stamp and a greeting farm sentiment ( both are rock the farm). I then cuttlebugged some navy card and cut it into bubbles. I added the sentiment I used in the background and added a few gems. I think it works okay not 100%.

Penny Black challenge - sketch

Well so much for a crafty day!!!!! I have been having a good clear out of the kids room. I have had to take down the curtains and pull out a lot of stuff. The balcony above is leaking and causing a lot of mould. No wonder we are all poorly! I will stop moaning. It just helps to vent it when you are getting angry ,I promise I am not seeking sympathy. This is my entry for the Penny Black challenge. I used recess papers by Basic Grey and I coloured with copics and a white gelly pen. I used buttons to embellish. I am on my third load of washing too!!! Grrrr!!!!!

Whiff of Joy - sketch and last weeks card!

My lace arrived as you can see by the post above!!! I had made my card for the whiff of joy challenge last week and was waiting for the lace but it arrived today so I am just posting it so you can see it.
The card for this week is made using the sketch by Heather. I had just finished my card above and my friend rang asking me to make a card for some friends who have lost their Mum. I wanted to use the papers so sorry if it is a bit repetitive.

Spoonful of sugar - Sketch

Hi this is my entry for the spoonful of sugar challenge . I flipped the gorgeous sketch that has my favourite faux stitching on. I used a gorjuss girl as I am so liking them at the moment. I paper pieced her dress. I added some lace from Habby(that is not a spelling error)world and boy was it a good bargin check out the site for ribbon, lace and embellies. A bit cheesed off though as it arrived too late for 2 of last weeks challenges. I am happy that the housing inspector is going to get an independant survey done on the property. It is our pesky neighbours leaks and the bad architecture so hopefully they will see sense.

Cute card Thursday - Wine and dine

Hi again, apologies for not waiting for glue to dry but I am so keen. I have made this card for my youngest daughters birthday. The challenge at Cute card Thursday is to use some food or drink on your card. I stamped this cute companions mouse stamp and I added a cupcake from the stamp set that comes with the stamps. I also added some cupcakes as embellishments and some hearts. The papers are HOTP. I think she will love it as she loves animals and princesses at the moment. I have got her some sylvannian family rabbits as she loves these and putting them in her pocket. She will probrably want the mice when she sees the card. She is sitting next to me while I am posting this so I hope she moves before I upload the photo. I think this is the first birthday she has really got excited about. I made her some labels with the new whiff of joy spring kit stamps. I stamped the image in pink versamark and left them blank for her to colour in. I know she will love these as she is always colouring in my badly stamped images.

1 card for 3 challenges!!!

Hello it was supposed to be miserable today but it is actually quite lovely!!!! I have made this card this morning, for three challenges. I have used a gorjuss girl and coloured her with sakura glaze pens and promarkers. I used pink, orange and brown for the papertake challenge . I used the sketch over at Truly scrumptious who have an additional challenge to use 2 or more handmade buttons. I made mine using a stamp and thread some cotton on. The third challenge was torn paper for the challenge over at spoonful of sugar . The papers are K&co and are a new purchase and I love 'em. It is a box of traditional papers from Calico crafts. I am off for a dentist appointment getting my final free check up whilst on maternity exemption. As of next week I will have to pay. I got a top up on my repeat inhaler perscription too.

Challenges, and a grumpy me!!!!

I have been unable to comment on peoples work as my computer is very angry/ unwell!!!! I have been cleaning all morning our flat has mould everywhere and I have to scrub it off. I am awaiting an assessment by the housing inspector. Hopefully he will decide to move us out and we will finally get rehoused. I think he needs a medical so I think next week that is what we will be doing!!!!! I have been able to make some cards and I have been left some surprises by my lovely blog/crafty friends hopefully I will be able to post these later Thanks Sue and Lorraine A check out my sidebar for their gorjuss blogs!!!! So this post will be jam packed ,I am afraid. Scroll down for the relevant challenge it will appear somewhere in this post, promise.

This card is for the saturday sketch. Check out my sidebar for a link to them. When I first saw it I didn't think I would enjoy it. However I loved it!!!! I had coloured in this image the other day and I thought I would use her. I had some leftover 12x12 papers so I used them and it came together like a dream. I am just so happy with this card and I will use the sketch again I am sure.

This card is for the Daring cardmakers challenge again check out the sidebar to find a link to their blog. I have used a gorjuss girl as I had to stamp and colour all of them in on arrival and so have to use them on cards too. The challenge was to use circles. Hope I have done so.

This card is for the Friday sketchers challenge you can find a link to them in my sidebar and I thought this was a brilliant sketch. Gorjuss girl again hope you are not bored of me using them.

Two challenges and two cards!

Okay so card number one is for the challenge and I used Faith is beautiful stamp. I love this stamp. It is simply beautiful. The challenge is to follow the sketch. I hope I have done it justice. I decided to be quite girly this week. Debbie who owns the crafty pad has some Teddy bear stamps and butterfly stamps out to pre order if you click on the link you will find them. She has some blog candy to give away to. I have to get around to entering that to! Gosh I am so behind these days.

This second card is for the Basic Grey challenge. The challenge is colour combos, I picked blue and brown. I used the " granola" papers. I love this image at first when my new spring collection whiff of joy stamps arrived i thought that this would be my least favourite yet I seem to used it lots. I love all of them equally. We have been shoe shopping today but really I should of been on a exercise binge, boy did I eat a shedful of food at The Chicago Rib shack yesterday. I loved every morsel of it. We got some toys in Harrods, the kids adore the toy shop there. I have been shoe shopping today over in Charlton that was surprisingly, a hassle free trip. I also brought some t-shirts and bits and bobs for the kids. Hubby got a lovely jacket! I have an award to post from Sue so I will try and do that later. I am becoming a slacker recently but just seem so busy. I think having four babies has something to do with it. Thanks for taking the time to look really appreciate it, hugs Pascale :)

Friday sketchers

Hi had a bit of a good day. Kids doing what they should do instead of having to be told. How long will it last? Perhaps it is the temptation of Harrods and Chicago Rib shack tomorrow that is doing the trick! I have done this very pink card for the sketch at Friday sketchers . I wanted to use my new stamps from Whiff of Joy but I wanted to try and use her differently. So I chose pink as my theme. Off to view another house shortly so I hope this is the one!

Cute card Thursday!

Ooh you can tell it is half term I am a day behind with every challenge. I hate being late. I am always an hour early to meet someone of for an appointment. I think it was because I arrived into the world 3 weeks late! Don't want to miss out on anything. Anyway drifting off the point a bit. Here is my card for Cute card Thursday challenge. My first Easter card. I struggle with pastel colours unless it is for baby cards. I am more into Autumn and Winter colours and I can do brights as I love colours that clash. The white edging was just trying out a different way to use the images. It gives it a more comic or storybook look. Kind of childlike I think. I love the girl she looks like she could be praying whilst she is picking the flowers on Easter morning with the little chicks hatching around her!!!

Please click on the picture to see in more detail. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and look.
