Whiff of joy and Simon says stamp

I have combined the Whiff of joy theme which is to use piercing on your card and the Simon Says stamp challenge which is to use Summer fruits. I used my gorgeous whiff of joy orange tree. I used some alcohol inks to create a background and then stamped an image on after. I then used green pen to colour the leaves and a clear sakura pen on the rest of the image to create an embossed feel. I used a basic grey swirl around the image.
I pierced around the edges of the image and layered it onto some card and added some backing paper by K&co and some ribbon flowers and stickles.

Cute card Thursday meets Simon says Stamp

Hello there the weather has been awful this week not sure what happened there. I am home again today. I have to see my local MP tomorrow about housing so I want to prepare for that and I have to meet my daughters primary school teacher this evening so will have less time to prepare. My daughters nursery teacher told me she is not coming back until next term and finishes tomorrow as she has time owing. I have made her card but had to dash to Tesco to buy some candles to alter, so I have a present for her.
Anyway I have made this card for the Cute card thursday challenge, my son's teacher who leaves this term. I made the blackboard using black card and corkboard and some white gelly pen. I paperpieced The greeting farm stamp which makes it eligable for the simon says stamp challenge too.

I used my new safari Tilda stamp. She is just perfect to colour in. I also used the sentiment from my new Simon Says Stamp set. I had such fun with this card as I love using vibrant colour.

Simon Says Stamp combined with Truely scrumptious

Hello I have made this card using 2 challenges Simon says stamp has a theme of Happy Mail. Please pop over there as they are asking us to make a card for post pals a very worthy charity that you must go and checkout.
The sketch is from Truely scrumptious who also ask us to dig out old stash and stamps to make our cards.
I used my cute Messy rabbit stamps by Joanna Sheen (had those a while and not used them) . I used an old Basic Grey paper " Cupcakes", some old buttons got used too.
I kept the card quite bright as it will be for a child. Now just need to put this on the challenge blog then off to pick a recipient.

Simon Says Stamp - Celebration

Hi there I have had a terrific day today. I met the lovely Joey for coffee this morning and we had a really good time. I then met my girlies from church for lunch at one of their houses. I then came home and made this card for the Simon says stamp challenge. I used this gorgeous pink gem stamp ( sent by Lorraine thanks so much hun). My niece celebrates her second birthday next week so I thought this would be great for her. I used dovecraft papers and added a flower and a charm with a lace ribbon.

Simon Says stamp challenge - Animals

Well I hope this counts for the Simon says stamp challenge. I sneaked a bird and a cat into the scene. There is a human too. I received my new Rain, sun and snow Miss Anya's yesterday and so had to have another play. I made this little card. I used Basic grey papers. The tree is by High hopes stamps and the picket fence is die cut. I coloured Miss Anya with copics and promarkers. Kept the layout and embellishing simple to make the scene standout. The clouds are from whiff of joy.
