3 challenges makes 1 card!

Hello I have made this card for card for 3 challenges. Colour create asks us to use blue and white and vintage on our cards. Cute card Thursday asks us for christmas in July and The sugar bowl asks us to use Gayles sketch and ribbons and bows.
My youngest daughter who is 4, wanted to colour this image in and ended up taking my precious memento black ink pad and is covered in it,oops.
I have had my eldest two at home today. We had their school open day and reports. They both did really well so I am the proudest mummy today.

The Sugar bowl - Judys sketch and Sparkle theme

Hello I am home this morning. Yesterday morning I had to take my eldest son Harry to the dentist as he had excruciating pain on holiday. He is going to have to have two teeth extracted under sedation. I am a little panicky about it he is calm as anything. I will get a letter from the dentist today.
I am also a bit annoyed, I am annoyed that our council has no contingency plan for emergency's. As you will of seen on the news there was a major fire in Camberwell. Over 100 people need to be housed so they are going to use the properties off the homesearch list which means that we are being shoved back to the bottom of the pile again. Grrr...rant...grrr.
I have to mention how touched I was by the Michael Jackson Memorial service. His family came across as genuine and very real. I felt the emotional highs and lows.
I wish his family well and am keeping them in my prayers.
Onto the card, this one is for The Sugar Bowl challenge which is to follow Judy's lovely sketch and include some sparkle. I have used my sparkle spray by crafters companion on my backing papers and added some gems.

The Sugar bowl - Lia's sketch and Blue and green

Just got back from seeing the film " A night at the museum 2" it was action packed and really good. So far fetched it made it even better. We all went and the baby slept. My 4 year old kept going I want to go home but we made it through the film in the end.
I made this for The sugar bowl challenge . A beautiful sketch by Lia and the challenge to include blue and green. I used pastel blue, apple and Lime promarkers to colour Annies ( leanne Ellis stamp available at funkykits sugar nellie collection) outfit in. Her face is coloured with blush, ivory, blossom and pastel pink promarkers and her hair is cinnamon and henna.
The papers are by Dovecraft. I tried to keep the bird theme throughout the card. folder and on the backing paper. I used my cuttlebug I haven't used the stamp for a while and it was fun to do this card.
Just seen on the sugar nellie blog that the gorjuss girl collection three has been decided upon so watch out for more news on that, sneaky peaks at the end of the month, how exciting!

The Sugar Bowl

I have made this card for The sugar bowl challenge . I followed the sketch and the added extra was pearls so I added a swirl of pearls and a few pearls to the image. I used this Leanne Ellis image as she has been sitting in my stamp drawer for a little while so I thought she should come out for a play. I heat embossed the image coloured with promarkers and twinkling H20's. I cuttlebugged some white cardstock and added some twinkling H20's. I made the flowers with my nesties and some roses and I added a small sentiment. I have had hardly any sleep this week and feel rather jet lagged!!!

The Sugar Bowl - Marlenes sketch

The challenge at The Sugar Bowl this week is to use Marlenes sketch (a fab one!)and buttons on your card. I used my new country cousins stamp as she is just so beautiful. I used blue and yellow as my colour theme. I loved using the sketch it is brilliant.
I had a busy day yesterday so I did not manage to blog any cards so be prepared to see lots today!!! I had speech therapy for my youngest daughter and I had to attend two connect groups for church as I am currently changing groups. I was exhausted. My son is teething and he does not do it well and that is taking it's toll too. On the housing front no good news as yet but I am hopeful that the right thing will happen at the right time. I got some more great news too but I will share that with you all at a later date!!!! I am a happy bunny!

The sugar bowl - challenge number 2

Well as you can tell from my recent entries this is a favourite stamp of mine at the moment. This is my entry for thesugarbowl challenge Check it out the prize are superb! I chalked this beautiful Leanne Ellis stamp and then glossed it to seal in the chalk. I have used 3 designs of papermania papers and cuttlebugged a scrap of plain basic grey paper. I have also used some gold card to layer with. I made my one embellishment out of 3 embellishments, wire, ribbon and gems. I loved this challenge. I haven't forgotten but I have a couple of awards to post. If the children behave I may get to do this later, if not I will by the end of the week.
