Arty Girlz challenge #58 - Fabric
I made this card for my favourite auntie who has been very poorly. I used basic grey "two scoops paper. I made a vase using acrylic paper, paints and a basic grey stamp. I then used an old polo shirt to make the flowers. I glimmer misted it and then stamped it, stamped the flowers and added buttons and diamentes. I am really pleased with the end result.
Visit Dawns AMAZING blog for some candy!
Dawn is offering some blog candy for reaching 20,000 hits! Her blog is amazing and has some great links and links for tips. She also has some lovely cute pics of furry things on it for all us animal lovers. So take a peek you won't be disappointed!
Just upload a picture of your craftroom or tiny table in my case and post a comment on her blog.http://dawnscrafttime.blogspot.com . I have a couple of drawers to keep paper in and anything else is stored where there is a space. You can see my changing table for the baby in the background this houses a lot of craft stuff on shelves but baby is now moving so I will have to rethink this.
As you can see I am not a tidy crafter. My life is organised chaos. I don't keep a diary it is all in my brain. If I do tidy up I can't remember where I have put things. I wish I had a whole room dedicated to my craft space but I make do with my tiny table!

My 100 post already! Daring Cardmakers - Forever Autumn
My favourite season " Autumn. All those rich colours and rustling leaves. Scrunch and crunch. I made the background using the technique used on my previous post. I added the small black leaves by using tissue paper. The effect is like drying leaves. I stamped the gold leaves using the left over gold (acrylic) painted paper. I added some yarn from the knitting I am currently doing. It was a joy to make this as I have a very busy week as my partners arthritis is not subsiding. He has lost a lot of weight and is shaky too so has been able to do very little.

A trick or a treat! - Arty girlz challenge #57 orange/ blue and TMTA
I have made this little atc for arty girlz challenge # 57 orange and blue and Think Monday Think ATC which theme is Halloween. I had such a ball looking for the image. I also used a new technique I discovered to make the background. I used acrylic paint onto acrylic paper. I let it dry I then added newspaper I added PVA glue added paint on top added some swirls with the end of the brush and dryed with a heat gun and I adore the results.
I chalked over the b&w image and added a few extra touches.
Glad to have found the time to make this as it seems so hard to find with OH feeling in so much pain. We spent this afternoon at the doctors but now know that it is arthritic. Gout ruled out. He is having a blood screen for rheumatoid arthritis and has a hospital appointment in November.

Mixed media Monday - Things that go bump in the night!
I have made a trinket box for this challenge. I is made from paper mache and cardboard. I thought long and hard about the theme and this is what I came up with. Meteors they go bump in the night sky. Black and Gold awesome night time colours. Combine the two and here you have it a night time trinket box. The meteors are made from a mixture of embossing powders melted on versamarked baking parchment. I really want a melting pot! Next months treat.

Announcing a special offer! - ATC for 3 challenges
I have made a little 3.5 by 2.5 for 3 challenges. My other half has been struck down by something arthritic and is only 42 and so I have very little time to blog in the past couple of weeks. I made a coaster pen pot earlier so I used some of the paper to start this ATC. Penny black challenge is to make an ATC using their products. Sketch Saturday is to make something using the sketch and Basic Grey's challenge is to make something with stitching.
I used some pale blue card as the base for this atc then I added my glitter mist and embossed paper. I then used some boxer collection basic grey paper and hand stitched it to the other backing paper. I stamped a penny black image onto some acetate and then I used acrylics on the back. I added a cute button with stitching and here it is.
Daring cardmakers challenge - Paint
The dare this week to use paint. Well I love acrylics so I could of gone to town but I decided to show some reserve. I stamped and then painted the crown. I used paint to edge the stampbord and to coordinate on my embossed border. I made the bacing paper with glimmer mists and a stencil. Sorry to bore you with another christmas card. I got the stamp from craft stamper magazine. The photo is not great it looks much better in real life.

Kaboodle doodle challenge - Tags
I am so excited I was picked at random and won the prize of a free download for last weeks sketch. This week the prize is another download from Kaboodle Doodle and the challenge to design a tag of your choice with or without Kaboodle doodle papers. If you use the papers you are entered twice in the draw. I have decided to make a bag tag for my daughter as the clay one I made has been snapped by another child. I am going to make it from paper and then laminate it. I used the allstar papers I chose as my prizes to create the rectangle tag and the background for the dolphin. I colourised the zig zag paper using my graphics program. I used BG papers to make the dolphin I stamped and embossed him to add interest. I added a mobile phone clip and some ribbons and attached it to the bag.
Penny Black challenge - Thanks a bunch!
Here is my card for this weeks challenge. Loving the look of the prize a download of papers by Tinker and Co. You have to make a card with a penny black stamp that say's Thank you! I used Basic Grey papers "two scoops" and some letters and photo corners from my Treasured TSV from QVC ( I have to use it I can't just stroke it) and a flower i have inked. I also used a cutie hedgehog from the penny black stamps. Finally I have added some faux cross stitch.

Mixed Media Monday - Opposites
Here is my entry for the theme opposites. I have used several opposites. Adult and child, Young and old, Warm colours and Cold colours, Innocent and Guilty. The idea emerged during creation. I started off wanting to create a contrast of warm and cold colours. I felt I need to add images so I added these from art-e-zine ( free vintage images online) and then developed the wording etc. I have transformed a washing tablet box before I made a ribbon holder but I covered that one with paper. This one I painted with acrylic paint and then sprayed with three tones of glimmer mists. I also inked it. I used acetate and glass paints for the flowers. The guilty picture has some glue still on it but I wanted you to see WIP.

Penny Black challenge - Sketch#3
sketch Saturday/ Basic Grey - scallops
Well the sketch screamed scrapbook layout to me so I have twisted that and made a photo frame, in the style of a scrapbook layout, with the sketch. It is made using the gorgous Basic grey two scoops papers (6x6). I added a stamp and some flowers I made using felt and sequins and some orange card and some ribbon, this meets the scallops criteria for the basic grey challenge. I laminated then put together with crop-a dile and some eyelets.
The picture is of my four beauties and my lovely niece. It is taken at my sisters place.
