So close to my heart ....!!!

My beautiful daughter Bradie suffers with a hidden specific learning disorder called Developmental co-ordination Disorder (Dyspraxia). It is one of the SLD that not much is known about by the general public. I have been having a tough time this week with some issues surrounding the disorder so I decided to SMASH a page on it as some cathartic therapy xxx

I used a gorgeous DP from My Paper Stash quintessential garden. I then cut out some pictures and phrases from magazines that reflect this SLD. I added a frame in green card. I then coloured in a Whiff of Joy stamp from my stash which is the close to my heart bit. I added some journalling tags made using correction fluid and pen and some pearls.

Challenges I am entering are

Stampin Royalty - Scrapbooking

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Great way to get your frustrations out Pascale. I know from 1st hand experience how hard it is to get someone to believe you when you know something is wrong with your child. I even went as far as asking for my children to be taken into care because if there was nothing wrong with my son then it must be me being a bad mother and I wanted someone who wasn't a bad mum to bring them up. It took me 6 years to get the Asbergers label for my son so her could finally get some help with his schooling. It's totally wrong that we should have to struggle like we do to get help for our children anyhoo have a great long weekend. :-) xx

Such a fabulous page. GORGEOUS colors. Isn't crafting a great way to destress for a bit? I work with children who have special needs for a living, and so I know how frustrating it can be to not get the help you need/not know HOW to help. Just keep your chin up--it'll get easier as you go along!!! {{{HUGS}}}

What a great way to express yourself, my youngest son has dyspraxia although limited to fine motor skills, it is wonderful to let rip every now and then, thank you for joining I♥Promarkers this week
