Hello hope everyone is well I have been busy looking after my poorly Max this week with his chest being full of horrible cold. There are a lot of nasty germs around this January. I also celebrated yesterday another year of getting closer to the big 40 eek that will be next year... !!!
This is my DT card for the brilliant Delicious Doodles Challenge Teri has some amazing images out for release this week so please check out the shop HERE!!
Our theme for the challenge this week is to be inspired by a WInter Wonderland. I chose a frosty morning and the very subtle hues of blue remind me of the ice and the subdued sympathy card reminded me of how we feel on a frosty morning. I created a scene using my My Craft Studio and added some stickles as a frosty glaze.
I coloured the stunning Fallen available in the shop I used copics and promarkers and added some feathers to embellish her.
Have a great week I hope to be back sooner rather than later xxx
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Delicious Doodles Challenge
Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all. I have had a bit of a having a little break from blogland and reviewing my committments as my real life has changed and I needed to get myself focused on all that was happening there. I am back and I am hoping to be posting more regulary now and sharing some of my projects I have been doing in the past couple of months.
I am kicking off with this 80's revival inspired card for the brilliant Delicious Doodles Challenge. You must check out the teams cards they are totally amazing. We have a great theme for this challenge as it is the first of the New Year we want to see anything New on your cards. Could be an image, stash, technique it is completely up to you.
I had to use the beautiful new emo Image "I'm no Goth" from the shop she is so beautiful and she reminded me of how I was in the eighties so I used the eighties revival to inspire my card. I used lots of flurescent colours and punked her up with some lace and a safety pin charm. I made the sentiment on my graphics programme and added some funky feathers. The design papers are two I designed last year. She is coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers.
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Hairy Legs anyone!!!
Good Evening everyone!!! Life again this week took lots of twists and turns. I was on my business course on Monday and Friday lots of exciting things happening there xxx I was in hospital midweek with my youngest daughter Bradie as she had a meningitus scare. There have been some cases in our area recently so the GP was on red alert. She had a headache for a day or so so I took her to the docs on Tuesday and then on Wednesday morning a non blanching rash appeared on her arm I was really scared so straight to the GP who told me that a school had a case recently so I was to go straight to A&E so we spent the night there and she had two lots of intravenous antibiotics and I had a sleepless Wednesday night. Glad to say she is well again now xxx
So Hairy legs I hear you shout why are you on about that on a card making blog!!! Well as you know my boss Teri over at Delicious Doodles Challenge asked us to set some themes and Ruthie looked at her legs and decided to choose "Hairy Legs" as one I thought it was a great idea. You can choose to interpret it as you wish. It could be Hairy legs on an animal, a man, a women you decide!!!! As always Teri is offering up some great prizes and as long as you follow the rules and the theme you can enter!!!
I chose animal hairy legs and went with the gorgeous image Christmas Stocking Rudolph. I used him 9 times to make all of Santa's reindeer to keep him company I added a sentiment and drew in some string. I coloured with Promarker and copics. I kept the layout very simple as I wanted the focus on the design. I hope you like what I have chosen to do xxx

Goddess
For a while now I have lacked the drive to create so when I came across this fabulous blog The Butterfly Effect I was inspired to create my very own Ancient Goddess! They give us 8 steps to follow to doing this. I hope this represents the theme in the right way.
I decided to create a beautiful Love Goddess. I have yet to give her a name. I was inspired by the Greek Goddess Aphrodite. During my research on Goddesses I found I was hugely drawn to the Earthly Goddesses too so I used Earthly colours in one of my coloured pictures. I coloured her with prismacolour pencils and added some white gel pen. The other one is very much trying to keep to the Aphrodite and Greek Goddess feel of clean and simple. She is coloured with alcohol pens xx
I drew a pencil drawring and then traced with a black pen. I then scanned into the computer and turned her into a digital image. I added a frame and some hearts. I wanted her to become a more modern take on the Greek Goddess.
Thanks to the challenge for inspiring me to get out my sketch pencils and to create I really enjoyed it xxx

Sweet Pea Stampers _ Remember
Morning all, hope it is not so dull and dreary where you are today. I have had another week full of appointments. I had to see the educational pyschologist on Wednesday and the Paediatrician on Wednesday and I am happy to say that they have given a diagnosis of Developmental Co-ordination Disorder for my little princess Bradie which in basic terms means she has problems with organisation of her gross and fine motor skills, thoughts, understanding, planning and organisation. She also has Speech and Language issues it is a vastly underecognised disability that I believe needs promoting as many children go on to suffer juvenille deliquency and pyschiatic problems xxx Rant over have contacted my MP. I am going to fight her corner too as this has been prescribed by the doctor xxx
Okay now onto my first card for today. I have made this DT card for the Sweet Pea Stampers challenge where we want you to "REMEMBER"! The prize this week is 2 Digital decoupage sheets from The Crafty Purple Frog!!!
I used the ever so gorgeous Sweet Pea stamps image from the Ching Chou Kuik range for my card. Poppies are a beautiful flower and one of my favourites. I used some papers from the Paper Flower Expert CD rom that is available from My Craft Studio. The poppy embellishment is also from this CD rom too. I used some spellbinders dies to create the pretty border, frame and corners and added some sparkle too.
I hope you like my card and can join in this week.

The choice is yours as to what you choose I chose to use Good and Evil for this card. I used Dark Valentine (she is a vampire but reminds me of an angel too.) All Sparkley at The Crafty Purple Frog
Hi everyone hope you are having a great week. It is half term here and mine has been jam packed this week with wild things happening....!!!
I had to take my youngest to the A&E department on Saturday as he had respiratory problems he ended up being given steriods and an inhaler regime. We came out of hospital at about 2.00 am so I am still catching up on my sleep... xx
I also was approached in the street to participate in a market research event which I did but it was all so bizarre. I am not allowed to give away too much and unfortunately will be unable to be in the advert that it was for as the girl I was with mentioned the product prior to us testing it... grrr...!!! Still got enough money to pay for a haircut for me and Georgina and to go Haagen Daaz tomorrow xx
I have been cleaning today so just got around to posting this as it was a big job...!! I have a DT card to share with you that I have made for The Crafty Purple frog Challenge we want to see Sparkle this week. I chose this beautiful decoupage image which will be available on the "Flight of Fancy" this will be released really soon. I added some cosmic shimmer twinkles to the snow and parts of the image but it is not that clear on the photo :0( .
I used some mirri board to add some extra sparkle too. The papers are from the CD rom I added some seam binding, some feathers and embellishments from my stash xxx
I am entering the challenge over at Crafts and Me Winter blues xxx

Paper Pad Challenge - Christmas Carols
Hello well I am a very happy mummy this morning as I have my beautiful Georgina home. She wasn't that impressed with this outward bound trip. It was cold, very wet, rubbish food and no heating in there barn. She did not like her instructor either. He was very boot camp threatning to send them back to London with bruises. I am not impressed by that in the slightest. She has a numb toe too from the mountaineering. Lots of cuddles in order me thinks xxx
I have some FREE papers to give away over at the Paper Pad Challenge! I decided to make some traditional but contempary papers and thought Christmas Carols would be a great theme. I hope you can join in the fun and grab the freebies xxx
I used "The Holly and The Ivy" as my inspiration. I used two of the FREE papers which I resized to fit a 6" by 6" card blank. I cut them diagnally and used as my background. I made a rosette using a My Craft Studio Embellishment attic click, print, go CD rom. The rosette topper I designed my self. I added some embellishments from the Christmas Paper Flower Expert click, print, Go CD rom.
I am really looking forward to seeing your designs with my papers.

Sweet Pea Stampers - Halloween!
Hi there I hope everyone has had a good week. I have been lonely as my gorgeous daughter Georgina has been on an outward bound trip in the Lake District with her secondary school. She is back this evening phew I am not sure how much more missing her I could do. She has had lots of fun too by the sounds of things on the school trip blog. Night time hikes, jumping in lakes, mountaineering in hail.... LOL xxx
I have a box to show you all today that I made for my DT piece for Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge! We are celebrating Halloween so we would love to see your Halloween creations too.
I used a template from the Advanced Papercraft Encylopedia CD rom from My Craft Studio to make the box. The paper is a Halloween freebie from my challenge blog The Paper Pad Challenge. I distressed it with and acrylic paint dauber. I added some seam binding (a fave of mine at the moment) I then added some feathers and made a shrink plastic embellishment with the gorgeous Elaine Cox image available at Sweet Pea Stamps!

Sharing some Crafty Weekend Away makes...
Hi everyone I have just had the most AMAZING weekend away thanks to the very lovely A Crafty Weekend organised by the even more lovely Amy and Chris. It was such a fun weekend filled with oodles of laughter and wonderful people some familiar, but now all familiar. I am revving myself up for our re-union weekend next year already xxx
There were11 crafty girlz crafting away all weekend ,well nearly all, there was also lots of yummy meals and wine and chocolate and giggles had along the way too. We were given a MAHOOSIVE goodie bag with brilliant products to play with from a number of suppliers (so please go to the tab at the top of my blog to see the sponsors.) Here are a few of the makes that I made. I made some jewellery something I have not done for few months and it has reignited my passion for beads xxx
This first bracelet is one I made to wear out for our pub dinner that we had during the weekend away!!! It is made using the very lovely starter kit we got.
The second bracelet I made for my niece who will be 21 next week. She loves these colours at the moment.
The third bracelet is one I just needed to make to have a play. I liked the colour combo of the gold with the green.
Here are two cards I made with some of my goodies they are both made using Crafts and Me stamps from my goodie bag. The card bases, the embellishments and the papers were also from my goodie bag.
I coloured in the images with promarkers, copics and the Flexmarkers that were kindly donated to A Crafty weekend Away by Letraset!!! I have had my arm twisted and purchased some as they were so amazing to work with I have mainly promarkers in my colouring case but favour the paintbrush effect of the new flexmarkers and the pigmentation is second to none too xxx
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Spooky...!!!
Hi another long week here my daughter is very emotional with her DCD and although she did extraordinarily well this week at school getting a certificate, a superheroine cape and a headteacher award she came home every evening in bits and pieces that I had to gently put back together... xxx I am however reading a great book called " The Out of Sync Child" and it is really a great read for me to understand how to make things easier for her. My son also had a blip after a great start to nursery on Friday I had to stay with him xxx
Okay I am late showing you my combined DT card for Delicious Doodles Challenge and the Paper Pad Challenge Sorry!!!! The Delicious Doodles Challenge is to create something for the Theme "tales of the unexpected" and the Paper Pad Challenge is to create something "Spooky" using my FREE papers!!!
So my Tale of the Unexpected was to use the super cute "My Cute Kitten" from Delicious Doodles Shop! However my twist was I drew a witches hat onto some metallic card and put it on the little girls head and made the kitten black. So the super cute image became a more spooky Halloween image.
The free papers are from the Paper Pad Challenge I made this easel card which I hope you like xxx
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale
