Life is a Rollercoaster...!!!

Hi there I am a bit confused and dazed at the moment. My trust in the NHS has returned to rock bottom following a relapse this week. On Monday the  nurses noted some changes in the blood levels of Jimmy and he was called back into hospital to have his antibiotic reviewed on Tuesday night. We waited for 4 hours for patient transport and I had to push for him to have a bed (he ended up on the private ward).
He had a reaction to one of the antibiotics and so they had to keep him in for a further night and to change the antibiotic. He went to a ward where I was hugely disappointed. They let him sit in a chair and wait 4 hours for a bed. They did not book his patient transport to an outpatient appointment to the correct hospital. They left him without pain relief and without EPILEPSY medication for 36 hours. I tried to contact them about this at today and I am still awaiting the sister in charge to call me back.
On the upside he went to an ENT outpatient appointment and will be having an op on his ear again in June to investigate further. Oh and I have him home yippee!!!!
My gorgeous Georgina won the book review competition in her class today so I am a very proud Mummy and she got into her first choice of secondary school xxx
Enough of my  rollercoaster ride of life here is my  DT card for today's challenge over at The Crafty Purple Frog. We want to see " Things with Wings" I chose the lovely Peacock Blue Decoupage. I printed onto some glossy card and used silicone  glue to decoupage it. I used some papers, card and sentiment from the hunkydory Spring Elegance kit. The ribbon is from the ribbon girl.
Hop on over to the Challenge where there are some great prizes to win including some images from Delicious Doodles!

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Hiya Pascale - the card is gorgeous!

Oh my word - what a nightmare with the hospital again! Thank goodness you have him home again (at least you can treat him properly even if they cant!)

And wow for getting your DD's first choice of schools...Josh got his second, but we are not too fussed - bit further to travel but we were not sure which to put in the top preference, so we are happy!

Hugs to you all!

Man - what a ride life can be sometimes! Glad he's home though, at least you know he's comfortable and not forgotten in a corner somewhere.
Think we'll be needing our break in October!! LOL
