Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday! - OOps reminds me...

Hi there yes I am going to come out of the closet...I live my life in organised chaos. I am a virgin Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday player and yes I find it easier to work amidst my mess. If I tidy up I just have to make a mess to find everything again.

My workdesk is positioned in an alcove of my bedroom. We live in a 3 bed flat and there are 6 of us so finding space is always gonna be a problem until the kids move out...LOLxxx

I have recently rearranged the space as it just was not working and have actually given my room a more spacious feel.

The first picture shows you where my space is located. This is the entrance to our bedroom. The door directly ahead is the door to our ensuite toilet come utility space. The plastic tubs contain papers, rubber stamps, punches, inks, sprays adhesives, die cut folders and CD roms. As you can see I am desperate need of more storage soloutions as my craft stuff is overflowing these containers xxx

The second picture I have tried to give you a front view of the desk. As you can see I have pictures of my beautiful 4 babies on my desk. I also have the cute bear ornament they brought me for Mothers Day. I tend to keep the things which I use daily on the workdesk itself. Although saying that on the shelves I have my jewellary making stuff which is honestly so neglected these days.

Finally in the third picture I have closed in a little on the actual workdesk area.
As you can see my colouring mediums are always open and to hand. Those are my prismacolour pencils on the desk and my Promarkers and Copics are in pencil cases in the brown basket.

The gorgeous image that is coloured is something that I am preparing for one of my DT cards so keep an eye out for her. If you have not visited Julia's blog hop over and check out this oh so cool idea of a challenge. I am so excited about coming to see everyone and will probrably do that later when the kids are asleep.

I will try and tidy up for next week and give a bit more of a tour. Thanks for stopping by x

Hi, thanks for stopping by my desk - lets not ask what's happened to Liverpool!!

From the look of the size of your family in the photos it will be a while till they move out and leave you more space, lol! Great to have you on board WOYWW.

Welcome to WOYWW! Great to see your stuff. Do not say 'desperate ned for more space'....I just had a convo with my man baout needing more space and he said what I need is to USE and KEEP TIDY the 'stuff'. Hmm. In your case..have you considered changing the locks so you can have a choice of the other bedrooms?!!!
Your link hasn't worked, am going back to correct it - let me know if you need help with linking or if you just got all in a flush!!

Hi Pascale
welcome aboard, your creating in the same space as me, it drives my hubby nuts and me sometimes, I dream of a room of my own, and as you say when we tidy cant find a thing, yours looks very creative.
Happy crafting

lovley colouring and great utilisation of space.

My youngest still sleps in with us. My craft stuff lives in the bedroom, I have to select what I need and carry it to the lounge to craft in the evenings.

Hi Pascale - firstly thank you for coming over to my blog and leaving lovely comments. They were much appreciated. Secondly - welcome to WOYWW - look forward to getting to know you more... and thirdly - I need to say how much I admire that you craft and create in such a confined space - I don't know how you do it...

This is my first proper bloghop in over 2 weeks, so will have to come back and catch up with your other posts when i'm all up to date.

Take care

Oh I feel your pain with needing more space :P There are 5 of us in a 3 bed house. What's worse the kids keep threatening that they will never move out! Aaaaargh! My desk and shelves are in the dining room squeezed inbetween the table. Hence my having to make an effort to tidy this week ;)

Lovely to see round your area Pascale :)
