Here I am again! Can't stop now I've started again LOLx
Hello I have had a lovely family day walking along the Thames, picnic by the Tate Modern and chilling by City Hall watching lunies bungee jump!!!!! I started making this yesterday when my new rubber arrived by colouring this sweet image from Sugar Nellies new Manga range. I added some stickles to it, of course so I had to let it dry overnight. I put it together using the sketch from Sketch Saturday's challenge . I flipped the sketch and slightly moved the embellies so I hope this is okay.
Hope you all had a wonderful day as I did. The weather couldn't be better at the moment.
Winter Wonderland meets Daring Cardmakers challenge
Hello the weather is gorgeous again here in London a true Indian Summer is really here! I made my gift box below as my DT piece for Winter Wonderland this week. Please hop over and take a look at the fab prize on offer and the other girls work as they are so talented.
I also want to enter this into the Daring Cardmakers challenge which is to use Tartan in your project. I hope it counts as it is a box and not a card.
I used a flower and a leaf stamp from MME bloom and grow stamp set I am loving this set so much. I coloured it to look like a poinsetta. I added some stickles and gems too. I made the bird using The Greeting Farms Vintage Birds set. I added Sakura pen for some sparkle. I used a sentiment from a personal impressions christmas set.
I cut in half a piece of A4 card vertically then I found the middle and scored. I then found the middle at each end and scored from this point to each corner of each half. You should form a diamond shape on the whole piece of card. I folded using a bone folder to create sharp edges. I then ran a cuttlebug swiss dots folder over the card. I added random stickles to create a snowy look. I punched holes in the sides and used my tartan bow to fasten and added my stamped decorations.

The sugar Bowl meets Colour Create
This is for two challenges. Bitten by the bug again. Well actually some new goodies popped through my posh post box this morning so I decided to play after tidying up this afternoon whilst Jimmy took the kids and a friend of Harry's to the HMS Belfast. I walked up to meet them and watched some crazy people bungey jumping at Tower Bridge. It is a 10 minute walk if you are power walking LOL.
I used Gayles fabby sketch from the sugar bowl challenge which requires you to use a sugar nellie stamp and paper piecing to meet the criteria for the prize ( 6 sugar nellie stamps of your choice). I used my new Manga Fairy beautiful and so versitile. I think if you cut off her wings she could be a foxy chick! I sat her on a star I cut out using a template. I paperpieced her dress with some of the lovely two scoops papers by Basic Grey. She is coloured with promarkers and copics. Using the colour pallette from Colour create challenge , dusky pink, hot pink and ice chocolate. I added some text and snowflakes from my Darcie's stamps available at Funkykits. I added some grosgrain ribbon. I also highlighted with stickles my current favourite

Hello I'm back - Simon says Stamp
Hello everyone gosh I was away a long long time. We are moved and nearly unpacked. I just have to purchase a wardrobe and then I can unpack my clothes. I had a lot of problems with BT reconnecting so my internet connection was down for longer than I intended. I have missed blogging and visiting everyone tremendously but I did relise that I need to ration my blogging time with my family and other things.
I have made this card for Simon Says Stamp challenge which is to use faux or real stitching. I made the backing paper and floral embellishment with my new MME bloom and grow stamps the sentiment is also from this collection. The main image is a Sarah Kay image. I added some paper piercing and some sakura pen to make the thread look like it is sparkly.
This is a brief post as I have a friend of my eldest son over for a sleepover so we are really busy. I have to finish a DT piece for tomorrow and I am hoping to get another challenge card done over the weekend.
