Very Excited today to announce...

Hi there I am so excited to announce that I have been asked by the very lovely and talented Marcea to be on the DT for the new and fresh Beading Friends Forever Challenge . I have always loved beading and could not miss an opportunity so of course I said YES straight away.
Today sees the start of our challenge for July. We have two different challenges for you to enter. You can enter both parts or just one part. Check out all the rules over at the challenge.

The theme this month is to make a beaded flower. There are lots of tutorials and patterns out there. I chose to follow this tutorial for the Lady Vera Pendant by Off the Beaded Path.

I made my flower into a brooch.

The Tutorial that has been chosen for July is from Beading For Perfectionists: Herringbone stitch basics with a twist

I have kept my bracelet all one shade of plum. I used 4mm cube beads and 8/0 seed beads to make this  rather than the sizes recommended in the tutorial.
