My heart is really with the people of Japan and the Pacific today. As a young girl I spent hours learning origami with the Japenese students that stayed with us. My mum taught French at a Japenese school so we would often have students to stay.
I have been watching the news coverage and it is just mindblowing that all this destruction is caused by two plates of the earth meeting.
I have a card to show you that I have made for Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge. It was my daughters birthday last Sunday and this is the card I made for her. She loves Mermaids so this beauty from the Terra Bidelspacher collection is perfect for her. I used promarkers and copics to colour with a touch of sakura stardust pen. Our theme is scallops this week so I used a Martha Stewart punch to create my scallops.
I am entering it into the following challenges
In a Sweet Pea Dream - Pink
Simons Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Hi hunni this is truly beautiful I bet your daughter loved it I know I would. Its awful isn't it shug about Japan I really do feel for them I couldnt imagine having something like that happen here. We have panic stations when we get quite a bit of snow....altho not much compared to some countries. I love how you took the scallop theme to the seas with this Miss P... love it completely.
The Japan situation is so tragic - I cry when I watch the TV - luckily my sister in Indonesia was not effected by the tsunami but so many lives turned upside down xx
