It's a Crafters Companion Challenge - DT card
I used my gorgeous new Popcorn Kids CD rom to create the decoupage topper. I used Basic grey papers. I added some ribbon to the paper that I punched and stuck some button on top of the ribbons. To make the text I used newspaper and cut out the letters to make faux tiles. I added glossy accents to them. I added Sakura stardust pen to the bag and blanket as my glitter element.
If you have kids you will be like me trying to get ahead with the Thanks you cards for the teacher so this is one down xxx
It would be great if you could play along with us. You do not have to use Crafters companion products to enter this challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate you taking the time to visit me. Hugs Pascale
Sweet Pea Stampers - A Sprinkling of Fairy Dust
Hello I hope you all have got some sunshine for this Bank Holiday. I am sure hoping the weather only improves as we are hoping to get out and about for the half term holiday with the children.
This week at Sweet Pea Stampers we would love to see "a sprinkling of fairy dust" on your cards what a wonderful excuse to get out your glittery stash.

The winner also gets the opportunity to join us as Guest Designer next week. This is the final opportunity to make a card for the card of the month for May for which the winner receives 3 Sweet Pea images.
I used this Elaine Cox image "Pirate Treasure Mermaid" for my card. I love this set of images from Elaine cox. They are very fairytale like. I coloured in the image with watercolours and added some glitter to the treasure. I added some flowers and some woodware punched leaves I used glittered MME papers. I made a sentiment from two sentiment stamps and stuck it to a flower. I added some ribbon, gems, roses and a button from my stash.

Tag You're It - Heaven Sent and Oh Alice challenge Swirling
I would also like to enter this tag into the Oh Alice challenge which has a theme of Swirling.
My Tag is made using a sugar nellie gorjuss girl. I coloured her with Prismacolour pencils and then highlighted with an inksentials white gel pen. I then masked her and inked around with distress inks. I used aged mahogony and Tattered rose. I then stamped a swirl in both inks and highlighted with the inksentials white gel pen again.
I added some glitter to the image and my border that I punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I threaded some ribbon through and added some star embellishments from my stash. I also used a sentiment stamp and stamped angel on the top of the gorjuss girl and the teddy. I thought it could be used for a small girl or for a baby gift.

Simon Says meets Crafts and Me!
I would also love for anyone who prays to pray for my partner that he will get a new job as the current one is just absurd. Many Thanks again. I Trust God will make both these situations better.
Anyway on a lighter note I managed to fit in some time to make a challenge card for two challenges. This card is for the Simon says stamp challenge which has a colour combo. I chose to use Blue, Green and Brown. You can choose pink instead of blue.
I also decided to enter this for the crafts and me challenge which is to use distressing on your project.
I used this gorgeous Sweet Pea stamp by Lisa Victoria for this card. He is just adorable. I used prismacolour pencils to colour him and distress inks to make the background. I used a MME stamp for the hanging vines. I used MME and Basic Grey papers. I used some ribbon and gems from the stash to embellish.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by I really appreciate it, Hugs Pascale .

Tag You're It - A Whiter Shade of Pale
I had a lovely day out yesterday. We went to a local inner city farm that had a fete on. There was an artist doing manga style pictures of people, so I asked him do you use promarkers or copics, he used promarkers. My daughters did a bit of sewing creating a patchwork quilt to be displayed at the farm. I brought some mint for my balcony so we all had a lovely time. I was terribly excited to find that my plants that I planted about 6 weeks ago are flowering I was so worried that they wouldn't. I feel very proud.
Okay at Tag You're it this week we would love to see your tags and we have a great theme of "A Whiter Shade of Pale". We want to see your scraps of white card or paper and embellishments transformed into tags. Of course a hint of colour is allowed but the emphasis is on the white.
We have a tag swap for the month of June so please check out the blog for all the details.
I used an image by Sheena Douglas for my tag. This elegant perfume bottle. I added some glamour dust to parts of the image to create some depth. I embossed some white card with my cuttlebug swirl folder. I added some lace and some embellishments. A simple tag to make.
Have a lovely day and enjoy the wonderful weather we are having.
Thanks for stopping by today hugs Pascale

Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge - Glitter and Sparkle
This is my first attempt at this style of Stepper card. I like this one as you get perspective. It is like looking down a tunnel.
This card is my DT piece for Digi Doodle shop's Best Challenge. We want you to use Sparkle and Glitter on your projects.
When I saw this image of the Jukebox in the Digi Doodle Shop I just had to have it. I always wanted to own a jukebox they just look so amazing.
The thought behind the card was to make a Fathers Day card. I won the musical notes embossing folder on a blog hop for the Simon Says Stamp challenge and this is its first use. I used coredinations cardstock and distressed with a nail file. The Guitar and sentiment is also from Simons Says Stamp range. I have added some glamour dust to the Jukebox and the guitar and microphone.
I hope you can find time to join us this week remember that you do not have to use a Digi Doodle shop image but if you can that would be fantastic. We would love to come around and visit all your blogs and see what you have been making.
Thanks for stopping by today hugs Pascale

It's a Crafters Companion - Sketch and colour theme
I flipped the sketch as it worked better for my image. I used this gorgeous Patchwork Polly image from the new range of stamps from Crafters companion. You do not have to use a crafters companion image.
I coloured the image with watercolours. I then cut it out with a nestie and layered onto blue coredinations cardstock. I distressed around the image to create a vintage feel. I also distressed the Linen Closet DCWV papers and added some ribbon. Finally I stamped the butterfly that comes with the set of stamps two times onto one of the Linen closet papers cut them out and added as an embellishment.
We hope you can join in the fun this week and look forward to seeing your wonderful creations. Thanks for stopping by hugs Pascale.

Winter Wonderland - Amidst the Winters Snow
Well I was making a box for another project and I thought I know what I need to make the kids an advent calendar that they can use year upon year. I meant to do it last year but things happened and I didn't. So to challenge myself I have decided to complete it this year.
I am entering this into the Winter Wonderland challenge, amidst the Winters snow. They want to see snow on our projects.
I used MME papers a woodware punch, white card, eyelets and some ribbon to make this.
The box is made from two six inch squares of white card. I will do a tutorial for the next box I make.
Tag You're It - Vintage Romance
Time for Tag You're it again. This week we have the theme of Vintage Romance. Feel free to interpret it as you wish. Just have fun using up your odds and ends and scrap card.
I used this image that I got from a resource CD. I altered it to give it a sepia look and printed. I used some white card that added some linen closet DCWV paper too. I gessoed over the paper and then I used my distress inks to make it look aged. I also added a sentiment of Love over the side of the tag.

Basic Grey meets Oh Alice!!!!
This is my card for the Oh Alice challenge which requires us to use a photo of mushrooms and toadstools as our inspiration for our projects. I am aslo entering it into the Basic Grey challenge which has a theme of Punch it!
I coloured the image with promarkers and used black sakura gel pen and a white inksentials pen to highlight parts of the image. I also added some glossy accents.
The papers are the new Capella 6" by 6" from Basic Grey. I used a silhouette basket weave corner punch to punch all the corners of the Basic grey papers I used. I then created a backdrop for the image using my nellie snedden die cuts. I used some ribbon and dewdrops to embellish.
Totally Papercraft - Wedding or Anniversary
Hi there I have made my first side step card from this amazing by tutorial. I found it very straightforward to follow.
This is for the totally papercraft challenge which has a theme of Wedding or anniversary card. I used my Popcorn Bear Romance CD rom to create the papers and the decoupage and the sentiment. I added some flowers from my stash and used my nesties and my nellie snedden die cuts to create the mount for the decoupage. The card is coredinations.

Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge - Ribbons
This week at Digi Doodle shop's best challenge we have a theme of ribbons. We would love you to join us. Remember there is no need to use a Digi doodle stamp but the shop is full of gorgeous images at great prices and of course there is the May sale where you can get a discount of 15% on all floral images and if you spend over $5 you get set 1 and set 2 of the Digi doodle flowers.
I chose this fantastic image called "Ragga Mutts Stanley" which you can find here . He is so CUTE. I coloured him with Copics and Promarkers. I saw this fold demonstrated on Create and craft by the owner of Once upon a stamp. He was demonstrating the scorepal. I wanted to have a try so I used my own scoreboard to do it. If there is any interest I will do a tutorial.
I used some papers by Kirsty Wiseman from her Colour me crazy CD. My blue ink was not in correctly so where it should be green it turned out pink but hey I quite like it. The sentiment made by some letter stamps from stamps away. I added the ribbon from my stash to the tag and to accent the design on the card. Hop over to the Digi Doodle shop's best Challenge to see my fellow DT cards they are fantastic .

Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday!
Thanks to all of you who visited me for such a welcome. You are a wonderful bunch and I am glad I found this wonderful Movement.
For those of you who asked the stella artois box is going to house finished projects as does the pampers box. Sorry that is not a more interesting story behind those x
Okay I tidied up a little as I felt I should show you it a tiny bit tidier. Today I wanted to showcase my ribbon storage.
I use this recycled washing tablet box. I have seen those bags where they have lots of holes for you to pull your ribbon through you know the ones you can store hundreds of ribbons in. Well here is my homemade version. Obviously it would look far prettier if I decorated it Maybe I will do that with another one. Watch this space.
Arghh as I am writing this Gordon Brown is resigning as PM and the Lib Dems have committed the sin of entering into an alliance with the Tories Arghh We are all DOOMED!!!!!!! I do like to speak my mind although others have said I should not but hey that is me.
What an honourable man Gordon Brown came across as in his resignation. I never thought he was in the wrong ,a Tory biased Media has forced him out. The Lib Dems have lost my vote and I thing quite a few more centre left votes xxx Anyway sorry if I have offended you with my rant but it prooves very cathartic to a girl who really should be following a political career.
I have also included a full length piccy for you to see what is lurking on the desk. I have a Sweet Pea image waiting to be made into a card and the Crafters Companion image that I had coloured has been transformed into a card.
Enjoy your snoop xxx I promise to try to visit x Hugs Pascale

Sweet Pea Stampers - Pink, Green and Brown
On a lighter note.... Here is my Sweet Pea Stampers DT Tag. I made a tag for this weeks colour combo of Pink, Green and Brown. I used this fantastic Elaine Cox image,I am really into her images at the moment. This one is called Elaine Cox's Little Oak Tree Owl and can be found HERE.
I watercoloured the image and then I used a distress ink over the top of it. i also added a touch of sakura glaze pen and I added some distress stickles. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the image with distress ink.
I then cut out and embossed a scalloped rectangle nestie to mount the image onto. I made a flower with a template and the same card. I added a brad. I also put some ribbon on the side to add interest.
We love to see your Sweet Pea creations each week. This week there are 3 prizes on offer so please hop over and take a look. Thanks for stopping by hugs Pascale.

Two challenges one card!
I have used this Elaine Cox image Playing with stars available here .
I coloured her with copics and promarkers and added some glamour dust to the stars. I masked the image and dabbed some inks around with a make-up sponge to create the background.
The papers are Linen closet by DCWV and the punch is a silhoutte corner punch basket weave.
The key is from my mould I purchased from Crafts and me. I used delight air drying clay and then I coloured the key with gold promarker. The key is for the Oh Alice challenge which this week wants us to use a key in our project.
The punch is Martha Stewart and I threaded ribbon through the holes.
The Sweet Pea May customer challenge is showers and flowers. I thought the blues resembled the showers (rainwater) and the flowers I used to either side of the image and I used some punched out Martha stewart flowers as an addition to the image.
If you love Sweet Pea stamps why not join us tomorrow at Sweet Pea Stampers for a great Colour Combination challenge. Thanks for stopping by hugs Pascale.
Tag You're It - The Key to my Heart
I must say that as a former Student Liberal Democrat I am highly disappointed that they even considered entering into discussion with the Tories. I am so, so upset. The integretity for me has disappeared. I will really have to reconsider next time there is an election.
Our MP is Simon Hughes and he is really a wonderful member of the community and makes valient efforts to help constituents but if the Lib Dems go with the Tories I think that will be so wrong. I am in favour of a Lib Lab pact. Enough of Politics I could argue about the state of it all day. Just not enough hours in the day as far as I am concerned.
Tag You're it this week has a great theme of "The Key to my Heart".
I chose to make some keys using my mould from Crafts and me and delight air drying clay. I coloured with a silver promarker once dry. I fixed them to a chain which I added a keyring.
To make the tag I used some white card stock onto which I layered some blue coredinations cardstock that I had punched at the corners. I added some gems to the corners. I stamped a heart from a Sheena Douglas set I coloured it with promarkers. I then punched some Martha Stewart flowers and added randomly to the tag. Finally I added some lace and ribbon offcuts.
The blue in no way reflects my Politics. Hope you have a fun week and heres praying that the talks breakdown x I will be back later with a Sweet Pea creation.

I also stamped on a sentiment and I added some ribbon to the layout. I added a touch of faux stitching too.
I hope you may find time to join us this week looking forward to seeing your creations again.Hugs Pascale

Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday! - OOps reminds me...
My workdesk is positioned in an alcove of my bedroom. We live in a 3 bed flat and there are 6 of us so finding space is always gonna be a problem until the kids move out...LOLxxx
I have recently rearranged the space as it just was not working and have actually given my room a more spacious feel.
The first picture shows you where my space is located. This is the entrance to our bedroom. The door directly ahead is the door to our ensuite toilet come utility space. The plastic tubs contain papers, rubber stamps, punches, inks, sprays adhesives, die cut folders and CD roms. As you can see I am desperate need of more storage soloutions as my craft stuff is overflowing these containers xxx
The second picture I have tried to give you a front view of the desk. As you can see I have pictures of my beautiful 4 babies on my desk. I also have the cute bear ornament they brought me for Mothers Day. I tend to keep the things which I use daily on the workdesk itself. Although saying that on the shelves I have my jewellary making stuff which is honestly so neglected these days.
Finally in the third picture I have closed in a little on the actual workdesk area.
As you can see my colouring mediums are always open and to hand. Those are my prismacolour pencils on the desk and my Promarkers and Copics are in pencil cases in the brown basket.
The gorgeous image that is coloured is something that I am preparing for one of my DT cards so keep an eye out for her. If you have not visited Julia's blog hop over and check out this oh so cool idea of a challenge. I am so excited about coming to see everyone and will probrably do that later when the kids are asleep.
I will try and tidy up for next week and give a bit more of a tour. Thanks for stopping by x

It's a crafters Companion - Monotone
This week at It's a Crafters Companion we have a theme of Monotone. We would love to see you use one colour in lots of tones and shades on your project.
You do not have to use a Crafters Companion product but if you can that is great. I will let you in on a little secret if you become a member at Crafters Companion website you can download some freebies.
We have a great prize of "A Flower Fairy Sweetpea stamp". This has been donated by Lothian Crafts.
I used my Beatrix Potter The Tale of Mrs TiggyWinkle CD Rom. The colour I chose is pink. I added stickles to the frame. Everything else is from the CD rom.
We would love to see you joining in so please pop over and take a look at the other DT creations.
Sweet Pea Stampers DT and Crafts and Me Challenge
This card is my DT card for Sweet Pea stampers and I am also entering it in the Crafts and Me challenge which is "Sparkle".
We have a lovely stamp for the winner of this weeks challenge. We are really sad to be losing Debbie due to family committments. She will be sorely missed as her work is such an inspiration. She is welcome back to join us whenever she wishes. Instead of a DT call will be extending the prize to the random winner and offering them the opportunity to be the following weeks Guest Designer.
I watercoloured my image I am really enjoying getting back to using paints. I think that I need to change medium every so often just to keep myself challenged. I then added some glamour dust to the sea to make it glisten.
I used some DCWV paper ( skull and crossbone paper ) and some Basic Grey paper. I added ribbon, and pearl gems from my stash. I added some eyelets and ribbon to the DCWV paper. I then used a transparent sentiment sticker.
I hope you will be able to join us if you have Sweet Pea images. Hugs Pascalex

Lots of piccies .... Enjoy xxx
I decided to make this card for two challenges and as a DT card for Digi Doodle Shop . They have a special offer on at the moment. If you spend $5 in store you will receive both of the digi doodle floral sets #1 and #2 for FREE.!!!! Wow an amazing deal I think you will agree that is 20 digi images for free.
I am entering this card into two challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Bows, Buttons and Bling
DU2DS - Flowers
I firstly chose the flowers from each set I was going to use I made up a sheet of A4 on my graphics program.
I then cut some 12 by 12 MME Bella Bella papers to A4 size and printed the images I chose onto these papers.
I wanted to try and make the images look like they had been cut by a digital cutter. I cut them out and on some of the flowers I cut further parts of the image out with a craft knife. I added some buttons a bow and some bling to the images that I put onto my card.
I put matching papers on the back of the tri fold card to finish off the look.
Finally I added a sentiment from Elusive Images. I added distress inks to this and then I drew round a nestie and cut a border from that too.
Tag You're It - A Butterflies Kiss
Good Morning everyone a real wet one today here in London. I am going to do some catching up with my crafting and relax. Jimmy is going to take the kids bowling so I can have a little bit of peace. Love him!!!!
This is my DT piece for Tag You're it. A wonderful challenge where you can use up all your scraps by making tags.
The theme for this week is A Butterflies Kiss. We want to see butterflies on your projects. I dug out the watercolour recently and I also had a sort through of my stamps and came across this beautiful stamp called Fragile Beauty by Sugar Nellie.
So she is watercoloured cut out and decoupaged onto the tag. I used K&co papers onto which I stamped some flowers with some distress ink. I also inked the edges of the tag too having distressed with my scissors. I added some buttons and some ribbon to embellish the tag and I punched out a butterfly to complete my tag.
The fun about tag making is that you can be as bold as you like and use up all those little bits that you can't bear to throw away. I find it such fun and always have a tag handy for those unexpected presents xxx
