Good Morning I am sharing my Design Team card with you from the new challenge over at Delicious Doodles. This weeks theme is Fancy and Frilly. I love this new image from the store called Tall Ship and Banners. Down in Greenwich last weekend there was a festival dedicated to Tall ships.
I thought the banners represented this theme really well. I have coloured the image with my alcohol markers. I used backing papers from my huge stash. I have created dimension with the papers. I added some wave borders and a sentiment for more texture. The waves I thought were good frills.
I hope you like what i did. Teri is offering a voucher to spend in the store as a prize so worth getting out your frills and fancy bits for!
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Lellibot Craft Challenge - Become a Guest Designer
Do you want a free digi to play with and the chance to be a Guest Designer in May then you need to hop over to the Lelli-bot Craft Blog. Sam and her team are giving us a chance to win a Guest Designer spot for May. They have set the challenge of using a free digi stamp to create a card to enter into the challenge.
So here is my card I made using the non coloured in Lelli-bot Craft Digi stamp. I used distress inks to colour the image. I then added a pearl to the bow. I cut out using a nestability. I backed onto pale blue pearlescent cardstock.
I created my own stencil to design the backing papers. I sprayed some spray and sparkle through the stencil and let it dry and then added distress ink ontop with a stencil brush for the top paper. The bottom paper I used the stencil in a random fashion and used two colours of distress inks. I added some ribbon, lace and a sentiment from my stash to complete my card.
Challenge I would love to enter :

Playtime
Hi today I have spent time making a card simply for my own relaxation and enjoyment. Sometime since I have done so. My Mum had a diagnosis of Lymphoma cancer back in August so my mind has not been on crafting as much as praying for her to get better. She had a scan last week and they are happy that she does not need chemo anymore. She has ongoing issues with her speech and with her nose but hey God is awesome and a powerful healer through our prayers. So this card I made firstly because this Delicious Doodles image releases today called Lilleth screams play with me. I coloured her with Spectrum Noir pencils, I used dies by Spellbinders and tattered lace to embellish and flowers. The papers are DCWV.

I added a sentiment from my stash which I stamped onto a die lite die from nestabilities.

Birds of a Feather
Hi another great day out with my gorgeous family making the most of the summer holiday. We went to the new Queen Elizabeth Park that is next to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford. It is a short tube ride away from us. We had a great day.
I am posting my DT card for the Delicious Doodles Challenge. This week we would like to see " Birds of a Feather". I chose to use the beautiful Peacock image from the store. I love electric blue and black together so this inspired my card. I coloured the image with alcohol pens and decoupaged it up.
I used the chevron embossing folder from Crafters companion to make the panels that I put the image onto. I added some card candy to embellish the project.

Sweet Peas Stamps
Hi I have been having a play with some inking techniques today using Sweet Pea Stamps Digi image Fading Love by Ching Chou Kuik. I printed the image onto centura pearl card stock and coloured the image with promarkers and a metallic promarker. I then created a mask by printing the image onto copier paper.
I created a moon from the copier paper and tore some paper to create my landscape (this needs practise). I stamped on some birds from indigo blu and some wild flowers from clarity stamps. The sentiment is just rite stamps.

Simply Butterflies
Hello hope you are all well and enjoying August. I am just popping in with a card I have made for the challenge at Delicious Doodles.
This week our theme is butterflies. I designed this card using my Craft Artist 2 software. I placed three of Teri's New Butterfly image in different sizes onto the workspace. I then chose one of the materials from my design kits. I punched out the butterfly shape using the fab punch tool. I placed this behind the butterflies in the relevant size. I then faded the transparency so you could see the design through the image.
I added a touch of alcohol pen to give some interest. I then stamped the sentiment directly onto the image that I printed onto centura pearl cardstock.

Brambley Hedge
Good Evening I have been busy making some new cards to make my stash a bit plumper. This is one I made using my Crafters Companion Brambley Hedge CD rom. I printed out the topper onto centura Pearl card also from Crafters Companion. I printed a backing paper from the CD and made one of the floral embellishments. to accent the design I used some leaves I die cut from black card stock. I also embossed some black card using a swirly cuttlebug design. I then added a sentiment from the stash.

Challenges I am entering are:
Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge - Animals
A Gem of a Challenge - Anything Pearlescent
Cherish each moment!
Hit is the Summer Holidays so plenty of Crafting time. I am trying to build up a stash as I donated about 500 cards to friends to raise funds for Macmillan cancer , Christians Against Poverty and premature babies so my personal stock is very low.
I brought this I image from Crafts and Me a Digi stamp designed by my friend Teri who runs Delicious Doodles. I liked the fact it was Dad with child rather than Mum. A simple card really I printed image to fit a 5:5 by 5:5 square card. I then coloured with alcohol pens creating a rather retro wallpaper with pens. I stamped the sentiment by just rite stamps (love this company). I matt and layered onto a 6 by 6 square card.
