Twas the night before Christmas...

Card Recipe

Spray and Sparkle
A5 Black card folded in half

I printed out the different snowflakes from the gorgeous Snowflake Collection. I then used different colours from my Pan Pastel collection to colourise the snowflakes. I then added stickles to the snowflakes and glossy accents. I let them dry overnight.

I folded a sheet of blank A5 black card in half. I then used my versamark to print my sentiment and gently dusted over some Pan Pastel. I sprayed the front of the card with Iridecent Spray and Sparkle. I added my snowflake to the card with foam pads. I have done two colourways to show you. I will be batch making more of these cards for Christmas so simple but so effective.

Combining Digital stamps with Traditional stamps

Hello I hope you are having a great Monday and that you are not too wet. I have been playing today with the beautiful Digital stamps released at Delicious Doodles called Snowflake Collection. I thought I would share with you how I combined them with Traditional stamps.

4" by 4" card

Card Recipe

Pan Pastel - Magenta
Versamark - Watermark Stampad
Spray and Sparkle Iridescent
Sentiment stamp and stamp  - Inkadinkadoo

6" by 6" Card

I printed out my digital image to the size that I wanted to fit my cards. I cut it out. I then inked up my desired stamp with Versamark. I stamped the image in various places to make a pattern. I then gently added some Pan Pastel using a make up sponge. I sprayed the snowflake with spray and Sparkle. On the 4 by 4 card I added glossy accents and gems and let it dry overnight. I added a sentiment using versamark and panpastels directly to my card and sprayed with spray and sparkle and added the snowflake with foam pads. With the 6 by 6 card I adhered the snowflake to the cards and then added the glossy accents and a card candy embellishment.

Challenges I would like to enter are:

One Stitch at A Time - Use a Digi

I hope you like my two very clean and simple cards made using digital and traditional card making techniques.

Ceramic painting tutorial - Using a digi stamp

Hello I love painting ceramics at the moment. I have decided to make a dinner set for my family using ceramic plates and the digital image Remembrance from the  Delicious Doodles shop. I love my ceramic pens and using them with digital stamps so here is a little tutorial for you all.

Plate Recipe

Blank Ceramic Plate
Ceramic Paints
Carbon Copy Paper
Digital Image
Biro pen.

Step One

You will need a clean blank ceramic plate

Step Two

Print out your desired Digital Image to the size you want it to be on the plate. Cut out a piece of Carbon Copy paper to match the digital image. Place it under the image making sure you have it the correct way to transfer the image.

Step Three

Take the biro pen and trace over the image where you  want you design. You will need to press quite hard and you may need to shape the image to the plate.

Step Four

Your image on your plate should look something like this.

Step Five

Take your black ceramic pen and draw over the carbon copy design. Your plate should now look like this.

Step Six

Take your green ceramic pen and colour all the parts you wish to be green.

Step Seven

Keep building your colours up here I have used two contrasting shades of red. Add some gold to the centres of the poppies for a finishing touch.

You have now finished your plate. It should look like the picture at the top of this page.

Rub out any lines left from the carbon copy with a rubber and follow the cooking instructions on the pens or paints used.

Pan Pastel Peacock

Hi everyone hope you are all having a great week mine is whizzing past. I came back from A Crafty Weekend Away yesterday and at the weekend I have my sisters hen night. I have made this card using a cock rather than a hen (sorry had to do it).
Card Recipe

Local Rubber King Stamp
Pan Pastels - Natalie and Amy's store
Scalloped Square card blank - Natalie and Amy's Store
Card Candy
Black card stock
Spray and Sparkle

It is an image by Local Rubber King Stamps you can find images at Natalie and Amy's shop.

It comes with feathers so I used these for the background. I used versamark to stamp the feathers and the image and I used a mixture of green and blue shades of pan pastels over the images. Once I had done this I sprayed with Spray and Sparkle to create a glitter effect. I layered up the card. I love the softness of the pastels on an image.

Challenges I entered are:

Loves Rubber Stamps - Out of the box technique (I made own background with Pan pastels and glitter spray, versamark and stamp)

New addiction Pan Pastels....!!!

Hi everyone I am back from a fantastic four days at "A Crafty Weekend Away" organised by the lovely Amy (co - owner of Natalie and Amy's Store). It was so fun. I got to make a whopping 23 cards and do some other crafts such as resin jewellery and ceramic painting. We enjoyed a great girlie time. Chatting, giggling, drinking tea, coffee, wine, eating, hotub and more.

Inkadinkadoo stamps
Back to Basics Christmas Paper  from Natalie and Amy's shop
Glossy Accents from Natalie and Amy's shop

I created the backing papers by stamping the image with versamark I then used different shades of pan pastels over the images. I sprayed with Crafters companion Spray and Sparkle and then repeated with my second image. I then cut out some baubles from the Back to basic papers. I stuck on with a foam pad and then added glossy accents. I added some faux stitching to finish the card.

Sneaky Peak time ....

Hello I have been packing and colouring in today. I wanted to share a sneaky preview with you of this beautiful image called Remembrance. It will be available in the Delicious Doodles Store very shortly.

I wanted to place the beautiful image in a field of poppies so I used the perfect image to create the field of popppies from the store called Sniffing Daisies. I cut away the girl from the image and resized and cut and pasted to give the illusion the cross was in a field of poppies.

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noirs. I then mounted onto a card and added faux stitching.

Challenges I am entering are:

Diva's By Design - Anything Goes
