Hiya another challenge over at Digi Doodle shop's best challenge. This week the theme is anything goes so that means pretty much any card you have done can be linked to the challenge this week.
We also have a very special prize this week. We are proud to be sponsored by the wonderful Whimsy Stamps and have a $15.00 Gift Certificate for the winner to be used at the Whimsy Stamps Online Shop! Our winner's name will also be put in the drawing with the past April winners for a CUSTOM STAMP to be designed by the Digi Doodle Shop of their very own
There is plenty of inspiration from my fellow DT members over on the challenge blog so please hop over and say hi.
I decided to make a couple of bookmarks using two wonderful images from the Digi Doodle Store.
I also wanted to have a play with techniques and to show you that you are not limited by using digi images.
The images I used are Butterfly blossoms available HERE and Butterfly scrolls available HERE .
On my graphics program My Craft Studio proffessional, I created a frame using the Butterfly scrolls digi image.
I then copy and pasted the butterfly blossoms image and resized and rotated it to create the image on the centre of the bookmark.
I also added text to the image. I then grouped the layers and resized to the size that I wanted my bookmark to be.
I then copy and pasted this and printed.

For this bookmark I coloured the image with prismacolour pencils and sansador and then I added distress ink over the top. I then added some ribbon to it.

For this bookmark I added alcohol inks to the bookmark and then coloured the image in with Sakura stardust pens. I then outlined with a white gel pen. I used ribbons to finish off the bookmark.
